"Daniel! Don't help her she is the servant so she must do it herself!" She says in a stern voice.
I look down for a second then look up at Daniel, he's looking at me too, a tear rolls down my check. Our eyes locked onto each other. He mouths 'Sorry' to me. I mouth back 'It's okay' to him, with a small smile.
I finish cleaning the house and lucinda tells me to tidy myself help so I go have a shower and get changed. While Im in the shower I hear the guys doing sound cheeks. I listen as each one sings, wow their voices are amazing!

I curl my hair and put on long black boots. I go down stairs and admire my fabulous decorating I feel so proud of myself, I mean it took me like 4 hours to completely finish everything, including the food. It also took me forever to blow up the balloons that say 18. On the other hand I'm still 17 almost 18 though. But when I turn 18 I'm going to take whats mine and get the hell outta here. I don't know where I'll go but anywhere is better than here.
I'm still deep into my thoughts when someone walks in. Daniel. He's just standing there staring at me.
"I-is something w-w-wrong..?" I ask I can feel the worried expression on my face. Also the stuttering I keep stuttering around him.
"No, not at all." He says slowing walking closer but still staring at me
"T-then why are you staring at me..?" I ask, my knees feel a little bit weak, it's those eyes! It's definitely his eyes!
"Because I think that you... you look astonishing." He says smiling now he's looking in my eyes. I'm looking in his.
"T-thank you, you don't look to bad yourself." I reply smiling also.

"Thanks." He continues talking, "So um are you really Lucindas servant? Cause she treats you like crap" He says not smiling so much anymore.
"You do realise your not meant to be talking to me." I say giggling a little bit.
"Yeah I know, but I want to talk to you..." He says smiling and coming really close. "So are you gonna answer my questions?"
"Well... you see I'm not really meant to tell anyone who doesn't already know, but Lucinda is actually my evil step mother." I say smiling back, now he's the one laughing.
"So your kinda like cinderella then..?" He says looking around to see if anyone is watching.
"Actually yeah, I mean I've got an evil step mother that makes me clean all the time so thats a check. Got an evil step sister, only one not two though, so that like sorta check, and... my um my dad..." I stop the expression on my face is sad now.
Daniel puts his hand on my check. "It's alright you don't have to tell me if you don't want to." He says comforting me.
"It's alright, he fell.. down the stairs. It was really bad, he had just been in a car accident so he wasn't very well and people say he just slipped but.." I say looking at the stairs on the other side of the room.
"But what? You think someone pushed him?" Daniel says looking a bit confused.
