Psycho (Under Editing)

Chapter Twenty-Nine ♪ August Second (part2).

The king? I'd never heard anyone refer to Jess like that, but as soon as our group stepped into the school's hall I could see why.

Every girl stopped and stared and every guy wished to join the group. I was a little nervous with all the attention, I mean I was used to it. At least no one here knew me as the girl who faked being raped. I was just a blank canvas. And suddenly I felt my self confidence rise.

I could be whoever I wanted to be. And suddenly I found myself weaving an arm around Jess's waist and grinning. It seemed like my facial expression was contagious as Jess mirrored it. It was like he read my mind, he knew what I was thinking.

There was a loud set of heels, I raised an eyebrow, until those heels stopped right in front of me. I got a whiff of a disgustingly sweet perfume, well for me it was. I prefer to wear guy's perfumes, like I am now.

The heels were black and slick, they were attached to pair of long toned legs in fishnet stocking, a short mini mini version of the school's skirt, a blouse and tie. Then came the red painted snarl and those gorgeous deep brown eyes. I immediately knew who she was.

"Jess, who is that?" She asked, batting her eyelashes and pouting. Jess stiffened besides me, subtly taking a step back, using me as a human shield. I wanted to laugh.

"Madison." He said, holding back his distaste. I was hella jealous. I mean Jess and I have been through a lot, mainly from my side, but we have stayed strong. I was not going to let this short blonde haired bimbo ruin it.

I smirked at her sweetly. "The names is Babe. Jess must have told you about me, I'm his girlfriend." I reached a hand out for her to shake. But all she did was let her jaw drop to the floor. I was finally getting my fair share of typical highschool drama, it was a good change from my usual one.

"Jess!" She gasped, taking a step back as if I burned her. "What is she talking about?" She quizzed, fake quivering her lips as if she were about to cry.

"Madison, I told you before, I didn't want you. That night was a mistake." Did you guys hear that? No? Well it was the sound of my heart cracking a bit. He slept with her. I wanted to tear up, but the fact that he said it was a mistake made me feel a little better.

"A mistake? I gave you my virginity!" She hissed. There it was again, another crack. And this time I felt my eyes glass over. I had always wanted to save myself for my husband, or for the one I loved. For the right person. And Jess became that person for me, but I couldn't give it to him, I didn't have it anymore.

"How many times must I tell you Madison?" Jess groaned, holding the bridge of his nose in frustration. "You had slept with half of the school body before me." And suddenly I was angry. My emotions were all over the place, I guess it was because Gabby was finally letting me heal or it could be the fact that I might be close to my period.

"Mason was it?" I quizzed, my bitchy side activated. Lucas chuckled. "Listen here Malory, Jess said that he doesn't want you."

She scoffed. "How would you know what he wants?" She asked, folding her arms defensively as she rolled her eyes.

I smirked, letting go of Jess as I strutted towards her. I leaned real close, almost to the point where our noses touched. I ignored the way my nose burned from her perfume and looked her dead straight in the eyes.

"I thinks it's pretty cute that you think you could satisfy Jess. But it you who he's with, now is it? Now be a dear and move out of my way." My heart was pounding, I was nervous and knew this would back fire later. But I had to make my dominance known.

A scarlet covered her cheeks in embarrassment, but by the looks of it, she was shocked. I looked like your typical innocent nerd, but I had a very sharp tongue, perks of reading books. Your use of vocabulary becomes heightened.

I turned around, and walked back over to Jess. He was staring at me with the deepest gaze I'd seen in my life, almost as if he was mentally undressing me. The gang was chuckling amongst themselves, and as for the bystanders. They had the look of pure horror on their face.

Maybe I was a bit too harsh on her, but I have been pushed over far to many times. I had to stick my ground and fight. I have been through the fire lit war zone of hell and back, I was far too strong for this. I didn't bother to turn to watch as Madison walked away, I just gave a shrug and pulled out my day's schedule.

Every one went back to their things, the boys rushed to their lockers, just leaving me with Jess. A hungry looking Jess. "What?" I asked innocently, tucking some of my hair behind my ear.

"Jealous Babe is hot." he laughed at me, I blushed, smacking his shoulder. He chuckled and pecked my cheek. 

"Jess, stop, we're late." I pinched his arm, making him help playfully and let me go.

"I am not a boy." He huffed.

"Well you sure act like one." I teased.

"Oh really?" I laughed as he tapped my nose.

"Come along, I want to get to our lockers." He nodded, grabbing my hand as he directed me to it. Finally we set our things into it, his was on the opposite side of the hall from mine, so that was a bonus. 

With that we rushed to class.

Wazzup peeps. It's your girl El♥ here. I am dying. School jitters has got me all clumsy, well more so than I already am. And I have a bunch of holiday assignments still a laying on my shelf, collecting dust. I only have a few more days to do it, but I am supposedly the queen of procrastinating, so I think I leave it for a day or two, or three. *shrugs innocently*
