Chapter Four

~ Y/N POV ~

Before anything happened...I blacked out.

I woke to a start sitting up fast, which only resulted in the hitting of heads with another person. I fell back onto the ground and grabbed my forehead. "What the fuck?!" I cried out, looking for the culprit. "It's not my fault you have such a big head. I was just trying to see if you were ok." A familiar emotionless voice replied. I sat up to see none other than Todoroki also holding his forehead in I guess sudden pain? "Who leans over a girl to see if they're awake?" I questioned him, "Like obviously I was not conscious. You could've just poked my arm or something." I gave him a little laugh and smile to which he looked confused, "Well next time...I'll just poke you to make sure you are alive."

He is such an idiot, but I will admit he is somewhat cute. I smile to myself, maybe I should thank him? Yea. "Hey, Todoroki!" I wave at him while I stand, "Thank you, for making sure I was alright. You didn't have to, but you did. Very heroic of you." He parted his lips but before anything else could be said or done we were all ushered out of the USJ by the pro-heroes. Sadly, I don't remember how anything went down after my blow up. Shit...I let it slip. That I'm his daughter, fuck. I looked around at my other classmates, some were beaten a little and some were just fine.

"Hey, Y/N!" I looked over to Ochako calling me over to her and Tsu. I went too her calmly, "Hey, you guys alright?" They nodded and looked at me carefully, "Are you, alright Y/N? You took a hard beating right at the end." I did what now? I don't remember this happening. "Haha, what? I thought someone stopped me, I don't remember anything happening." I asked them confused as we walked out of the USJ. "You challenged their head guy, told him to take you out first before All Might. And that smoke guy just brought you near them where the bird thing landed a punch on your head. Before anyone could do anything, they all left due to the other pro heroes showing up." Ochako explained to me these events that I don't remember happening.

Why don't I remember this? Did my mind just blank on the fight? I looked at Ochako and Tsu, who had concerned looks in their eyes. "Wh..what? Are you guys ok? I swear I'm fine." I reassure them with a smile and a thumbs up. "That's not what we are concerned about Y/N. Your dad...you real-life father is a pro-hero. Not just any hero, the symbol of peace?! The hero All Might." Ochako asked me, holding onto my hands. I slowly nodded, "Uh yea...he's my dad. Well, he adopted me when I was really young, but he is still my father." They squealed and jumped around like most high school girls do when they find out juicy information about someone.

"So, it is true then? You are number one hero All Might's child? Am I not mishearing you?" I felt a cold breath down my neck and looked behind me. Todoroki. "Uh, yea. I'm his only child. Why do you ask?" I reply somewhat nervous about what his answer may be. He placed his hands on my shoulders starring into my eyes. I couldn't help but notice how beautiful his eyes were, they looked damaged, hurt, cold and angry. Is he angry with me? His hands felt soft but tense at the same time, gentle but stern. "Todoroki..." I spoke softly and somewhat nervous to my surprise. "I'll have you know that I will surpass All Might. I will become the greatest hero, far greater than my father and All Might. I promise you that, I will not stop until I have proven so." He stern stare turned into a hard glare.

My smile turned into a frown, "This is no way for a future hero to talk. I brushed off Bakugou's remarks because he's just an idiot, but you. Son of Endeavor, number two hero. I thought you would have some sort of manners and at least a little pride with your name. I don't care if you think you're going to be number one. We are all here to become heroes and if you want to surpass your father as well as All Might, maybe you should start with your classmates. Seems like you have a lot of work to do, so if you'll excuse me, I'll be getting back to my friends." I turned and walked away from him getting onto the bus to go back to UA High.

I can't believe I fell for someone's looks again. His eyes had looked like they were fighting back something, but I couldn't tell what. He was upset and longing for something, maybe a friend? No, he couldn't be wanting a friend when he acted so harsh. I can't believe I have a stupid childish crush on that...that jerk!
