Chapter Twenty-Seven

~ Y/N P.O.V. ~

We were all brought to the hospital to be treated for our wounds, the most severe was Iida. I feel so sorry for what happened to his brother and now him. His mother must be extremely worried. I watched quietly as we were talked to by the chief of police and our internship mentors. We were told that our names would not be brought up in the press release, only that Endeavor was the one who brought the hero killer Stain to his demise. I rolled my eyes, of fucking course it would be him of all people who the praise of defeating the infamous hero killer.

I thought we were done being ridiculed until my father entered the room in his hero form. My immediate thought was, fuck I'm done for. I lowered my head and prepared myself for the hell I was about to receive. I waited a moment but didn't hear his angry voice, instead, I got a tight hug from him. My eyes widened, "D..dad? Aren't you mad? Why are you comforting me?" I was completely confused at this whole ordeal. "I am very upset with your behavior and failure to return home during the attack. Yet, I am also proud that you were able to use your power and help with the villain. You proved that you are indeed becoming a strong and independent hero. However, you did get injured as well as your classmates. I do hope you take your final coming up seriously now that you have experienced what it is like to battle a real villain." My father spoke with his tone loud but not condescending, he was proud.

The rest of the internship went by pretty quickly, I learned how to maintain my shadow ability even more, and could control it to a point where I didn't think was possible. Not only that but I also learned some hand-to-hand combat, in the instance my powers were disabled. I'm grateful that I chose my father for my internship instead of anyone else. I've learned so much, more than I thought I could learn for our differing quirks.

The following week we began schooling again, this was crunch week as our final was on Friday. I sighed as I walked on the pavement up to the entrance of UA High. My body was the tiniest bit sore, but I maintained my happy outward appearance. I walked into the classroom only to see Bakugou with his hair slicked back. I snorted louder than I imagined to which now he was raging at me, "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU LAUGHING AT BITCH!? IT AINT MY DAMN FAULT THAT I CAN'T GET IT TO GO BACK TO NORMAL!" I snorted again pointing at his hair as it returned to normal. I caught a glimpse of my dual colored boyfriend as he entered the room.

I walked over to him and sat on his desk, "This really isn't a comfortable seat you know, you should give me yours." He looked at me confused, "Y/N, are you alright?" I rolled my eyes and stood from his desk not answering his question. He's dense, but I love him. I made my way around his desk and pulled out his chair a bit and sat in his lap, "This is more comfortable, don't you think?" My arms wrapped around his neck and my head rest on his chest. I felt his face heat up a bit, I knew he was now blushing at my sudden actions. He leans his head upon mine kissing my hair for a moment, and I smile happily.

"Aww! Look at Y/N and Todoroki, they're cuddling!" Mina shouted, pointing our way. My face immediately heated up with embarrassment. "Yo dude, I thought you said you didn't like her. What's with the sudden change in heart?" Kirishima asked, and then Kaminari pointed out, "Yea man, you said you weren't into her, so I was going to make a move!" Todoroki held me close listening to the class babble on about our relationship. "Oh, hush up everyone, Todoroki and I just started dating after the festival," I say with a small smile and blush on my face.

Ochako ran over to us along with Deku, "So it is true! Deku texted me that you two were an item but I didn't believe him at first. Like come on I never thought Todoroki would come around and realize his undying love for you." I glared at Deku who was apologizing to me and Todoroki constantly. I was about to say something when the hot-headed Bakugou spoke up, "Can't you two shut your damn mouths? I can't fucking concentrate. Besides no one really cares about you two side characters anyway!"

I rose my seat on Todoroki looking at Bakuhoe, "Excuse me? What did you say about us?" He shot me a deadly look and replied, "Read my lips bitch. No. One. Cares." Keep it calm, Y/N, just show him that you're still a pissy bitch too. "I'm sorry that the little make-out session from the party after the festival gave you a goddamn boner. I'm in no mood to deal with your absolute bullshit today. Sit down and be a good student before you get your dumbass in trouble or worse." I rolled my eyes and made my way to my seat clearly annoyed, what a great way to start the day.
