Above is legit my first ever Photoshop so I hope that it's good enough for you to visualise Annabeth :)
Beep.
Another text from Erica.
I grimaced and slid my phone out of my pocket. Erica wasn't entirely comfortable with the idea of Stiles, Scott and I going to a party without her and she hadn't stopped texting me to call her if any girls tried anything on me.
"Oi! Phone away! No girlfriend interaction for you, this is bro's night!" Stiles ordered me. I sighed and slid my phone back into my jeans. "What!?" Stiles complained at me.
"What do you mean 'What?'" I asked him, shrugging my jacket off as we neared Stiles' friend's house. Generic pop tunes could be heard down the street and I was surprised that the police hadn't been called yet.
"I mean what, and you know what!" Stiles challenged and waited for me to respond, before realising I had no idea what he was talking about. "That sigh!"
"I dunno! I just feel weird going to a party without Erica... It just feels kinda wrong..." I confessed. I could see Scott nodding out of the corner of my eye, as did Stiles from his reaction.
"Scott!?"
"It does feel kinda weird, man... This is another school's party..." Scott blabbed, fixing his hair nervously.
"Would you two just- UGH! One drink! One drink and you'll be fine!" Stiles insisted, throwing his hands up in the air. "I went to nursery school with this girl, okay? She promised to introduce us to all her friends, so we'll be fine! Hell! What if we get laid tonight!?" Stiles clapped excitedly. "So come on! No Allison. No Lydia. No Eri – Minimal Erica."
Scott and I nodded reluctantly.
"Okay! Nice! Scott, no look me!" Stiles commanded before he and Scott started some sort of complex handshake before strutting towards the door of the house, me following them.
"How's my breath smell?" Scott muttered to Stiles.
"Dude, I'm not smelling your breath!" Stiles hissed back.
"Do you have any gum?" Scott pleaded with his friend.
"Dude! No – "
"Stiles!" A pretty blonde girl ran at Stiles with her arms open wide, her summer dress swooshing behind her as she ran.
"Heather! Happy birthd – " Stiles was cut off by Heather's lips smashing onto his. The pair stood for a moment, Stiles standing frozen as Heather's lips moved over his. Scott and I elbowed each other.
"I'm so glad you could make it..." She breathed into Stiles' ear.
"Same..." Stiles' voice cracked.
"Come downstairs and get a bottle of wine with me?" Heather took, Stiles' hand and began leading him away before he even said yes.
Scott spotted the pretty black girl that was following Heather and decided to try his luck, approaching her as smoothly as he could. "Hey..." He smouldered.
"No way."
Scott glared at me as I burst out laughing behind him before sending a pathetic last glance at the retreating girl. I clapped Scott on the shoulder and lead him to where the drink was being given out.
"Ignoring the fact that you just got rejected with the verbal version of a bullet to the head, not bad, I liked your confidence." I tried to salvage some of Scott's shattered ego, grabbing him a can of dark fruit lager. Scott sipped it half-heartedly as we sat on an outdoor couch. "Come on Scott! That was one random girl! Chill out! There's literally another girl over there that's giving you the eyes!"
