Jaden's POV

So the whole time while I was waiting for my dude to pick me up, I was packing. It just sucked that when I finally had it perfect, it got taken away from me. Sometimes I just wish I had a different life or I'd forget about all my problems. My anxiety kicked in and it got so bad to the point where I started to cry. Gus had to snuggle with me and rub my back slowly until I finally calmed down. He grabbed a small Ziploc baggy thing with white powder in it, which was clearly cocaine.

"Here. It'll help you calm down." He tossed it to me. I set it up and snorted some lines.

"I needed that." I laid down and let it sink it.

"It's all good. I know that whenever I get nervous like before a test, I snort some lines in the washroom at school. It helps a lot even if it's bad for you. Same with weed but if someone smells it, then I could get caught." He explained.

Knock

"Oh god." I whispered.

"That was kinda quick." Gus said and answered it.

"Who are you and where's my daughter?!" My dad yelled.

"Chill man. She's in my room." He called for me after he said that.

"Whatchu been doin with my daughter, son?" My dad asked. I quickly grabbed my stuff.

"Hey, dad it's fine. This is my friend, Gus. Gus this is my dad. Dad, Gus is my only friend so appreciate him. If it weren't for him, I probably would've killed myself by now." I nudged my dad's side. "Are you gonna be at school in Monday?"

"Yea. I'm not gon skip just cause my grades suck." He chuckled.

"When don't they?" I joked and hugged him. "I'll see you then. Oh and I'll FaceTime you over the weekend if I can."

"Ok, bye only friend." He smiled.

"Bye best friend who is also my only friend." I closed the door.

Dad's House
My Room

"I don't like that dude. You're not gonna text him or FaceTime him." My dad raised his voice a bit as he walked into my room and sat on my bed

"Uh, you told me you'll let me see him and stuff over the phone." I stopped in my tracks.

"Yea well I didn't know he was a ghetto thug who had tattoos!" He yelled.

"No he isn't! Shut up!" I screamed at him. He ran over to me and shoved my face into the pillow. As much as I tried, I couldn't do anything since he was bigger than me. I weigh 97 pounds. Lord knows how much he weighs.

"You wanna breath?! Then you better not talk to me like that again." He got up and left the room. I started to cry alone.
