Let Me Show You

25. Everything's Okay

"EVERYTHING IS GOING TO BE OKAY" I sing out as I burst through the door. All the boys and Lara are sitting down not talking but as soon as they see me they all jump up.

"Are you sure?" Lara asks.

"It's okay if you need time on your own, we would understand" Calum says giving me a sympathetic look.

"Nope! I'm all good! Everything is going to be okay!" I say nodding my head.

"Why do you keep saying everything is going to be okay?" Niall asks stepping forward with a concerned look on his face.

"Because. Everything. Is. Going. To. Be. Okay!"

"Yay" Lara exclaims jumping up and down. She runs over to me, pulling me in for a hug and seconds later all the other boys join in. I'm squished under all their weight but I don't complain. This is exactly how I want it to be.

"Well we should get going! We have a concert!" Harry says being the first to release from the hug.

"Are you sure you're okay to take pictures during our concert?" Louis asks grabbing both of my shoulders as he stares deeply into my eyes. I laugh as I widen my eyes looking right back at Louis. 

"I'll be fine! Don't worry!" Louis gives me one last hug before leaving. I look over at Luke who is uncomfortably trying to sit on the couch.

"Let's do this!" The boys say leaving the room. I walk over to Luke and laugh at how cute he is being.

"Are you going to be okay?" I ask him as I sit next to him.

"Yeah but I need to make something clear to you..."

"What is it?"

"I don't think I'm going to be able to have a girlfriend at this time" he says looking down at his feet. I can feel the heart in my chest crush as I try and gather my thoughts.

"W- what? You don't want me anymore?" I cry out letting a tear fall down my already puffy face.

"No! I want you so badly! But we can't go public..."

"But we can still be together" I say full of hope.

"Of course! But we need to keep us more of a secret because I don't want you to get hurt!"

"I understand" I say standing up and walking out of the room. I feel better now that I know he still wants me but I can't help but think about how Sophia was feeling before she broke up with Harry. She probably still feels this way.

I truly do understand where Luke is coming from but I never thought I would actually hear him say those words. I push my thoughts to the back of my mind as I walk back outside to the screaming girls. 

To my surprise the crowd goes very quiet as I walk over to the stage. I can feel another tear roll down my face but I quickly wipe it away.

It's dark outside but the stadium is lit with huge lights. Seconds later I'm joined by Lara who is now dressed in all black. I laugh at her new outfit and she poses like a model for me as I snap some pictures.

I'm definitely going to ask if she can stay on tour with us because I'm going to need someone to hang out with when all the guys are rehearsing and doing other business stuff.

Plus I know her and Niall hit it off and he is going to want to see more of her.

The lights dim as the musicians take their spots so the girls go crazy. I watch Lara as she stands with a smile on her face. I can tell she wants to jump around and go crazy but she is controlling herself very well.
