Let Me Show You

30. Rehearsal

"What do you want?" I ask Zayn once we are both away from everyone.

"I want to talk!"

"We are talking" I say clearly annoyed.

"I'm sorry! I didn't mean to say those things about you and Luke..."

"If you were really sorry you wouldn't have said them in the first place" I snap back.

"Well I want you to know that I regret that day. I'm sorry I punched you as well..."

"Yeah you were going for Calum huh?" When he doesn't respond I mumble "unbelievable" and start to walk away.

He quickly runs and cuts me off facing me once again.

"Please forgive me" he says moving his hands up to my face. I flinch at his movement and I can see the pain in his eyes. He then quietly whispers "did you think I was going to hurt you?"

Instead of responding I rush past him back through the door. I run straight into Luke's arms and stay there for the rest of the plane ride. I catch Calum glaring at us a few times but I ignore him and focus on Luke's steady breathe.

"BARCELONA BABY" Lara yells making me laugh as we all exit the airport and take in the fresh new air.

"So... You and Niall?" I ask once the boys have gone to say hi to some fans.

"Well we aren't official but I think he really likes me" she says excitedly.

"That's good!"

"So did Zayn by any chance come and-"

"Yeah he did. I won't forgive him though." 

"Why not?"

"Because..." he was part of the reason I went back to my old habits.

"Whatever! You're choice" she says.

"Hey girls" Valorie says popping up next to Lara. "So I booked an extra room in the hotel this time for you!"

"Thanks! I don't know if I would be able to handle another messy hotel room" I laugh and Lara nods her head agreeing with me. Valorie hands us our keys and we all get onto the shuttle.

"So Dakota I've been meaning to ask you something" Valorie starts off. "What happened between Calum and Zayn?"

"Zayn said some hurtful things and Calum just got defensive of me. He's like my older brother that's all" I say letting out a huge breathe I didn't realize I was holding in.

"I don't know" she starts, "they both seem to like you more than you realize."

"I don't think so, there's not much to like" I laugh at my own joke.

"Oh shut up" Lara saying rolling her eyes.

"Says the prettiest girl here" I mumble looking out the window. The rest of the shuttle ride was quiet  but mostly because we are all really tired. 

"We're here" Valorie exclaims as she jumps up from her seat. I quickly look over to where she's pointing to see a castle looking building.

It's only four stories high, but it stretches so far left and right it seems endless. It's all yellow brick with beautiful green vines growing up the sides. The landscaping is gorgeous and I can't help but not take my eyes off it. Lara is just as amazed as me as she stands up from her seat.

We both quickly grab our bags and run off the shuttle pushing past anyone who got in our way. Lara runs in front of me as we run through the open doors towards the elevators. We are on the fourth floor in room 452.
