"H- hi" I stutter watching Luke slowly slip out from under her.
"Dakota" Luke starts walking towards me. "You have to believe me nothing-"
"Oh shut up" I yell. "I saw her hands all over you! And you weren't even trying to stop her! Cheating bastard!"
"What about you and Calum huh? What's that all about? You're so secretive and close with him! What aren't you telling me? Why would you tell Calum something and not me?" Luke is screaming at me while Lille stands with a smirk on her face.
"Well I think-" she starts before I interrupt her.
"No one asked you" I growl as the tears flow down my face. "I can't believe you" I scream at Luke. I pull my locket out from under my shirt and storm towards the bathroom.
"Lillie you should go now" Luke sternly instructs her as I slam the bathroom door. I rip off my bracelets and my raw skin is exposed for the first time in a what seems like forever.
"I'm so sorry Calum" I whisper as I slice the blade through my wrists. The cold metal feels just as familiar as the dripping liquid on my wrists.
"Dakota" Luke yells from the other side of the bathroom door as he gentley knocks. Realizing I never locked it, I fumble to close the blade and get to the sink as the door is slowly swung open. "You have to believe that I would never-"
"I'm so sorry" I cry out as he looks down at my bloody wrists. He rushes over and gently grabs my wrists. His tears fall into my cuts and it stings but I don't even flinch. Luke carefully inspects my wrists as he washes the blood off.
"Dakota" Calum yells from the other room.
"Calum you need to leave! Now" Luke yells.
"Luke! Why did I just see Lillie- Oh my god! Dakota! Not again" he cries rushing over to me. "I thought you said you'd stop!"
"He knew about this?" Luke angrily yells at me. I slightly nod my head not looking at either of them.
"Yeah I knew about this" Calum spits. "While you were being an idiot I was helping Dakota!"
"How was I supposed to know?" Luke defensively asks. My head is spinning in circles as I try to keep up with the conversation through a constant buzzing.
"Well maybe if you loved her like I did you would've figured it out" Calum yells back as a tear falls from his eye. The buzzing in my head comes to a halt as Luke's grip on my wrists tighten.
"What?" I ask blinking away some tears.
"What?" Luke asks pushing his head forward.
"I said maybe if you cared about Dakota as much as I did you would have noticed that she isn't like most girls" Calum whispers.
"Calum..." I whisper afraid to look at either of them.
"Do you honestly think you like her more than me? That you know her better than I do?" Luke releases my wrists and takes a step towards Calum.
"Everything's falling apart" I whisper collapsing to the floor.
"No" Luke quietly says falling to his knees in front of me. "It's going to be okay! I'm here for you!"
"Me too" Calum says stepping behind Luke. Luke tenses up but releases focusing all his attention on me again.
"Luke, you don't understand. We CAN'T be together! How am I supposed to be happy if I can't be with you..." I feel bad for saying it in front of Calum but I can't hold it in anymore. "You don't know what it was like before. It wasn't just awful, it was pure hell. You make me so happy Luke! I don't know what I'm doing when I'm so far apart from you..."
