Forth walked in to the elegantly designed office with classic Italian furniture. He stepped gracefully; not rushing as any man should be when they are pressed with the charges he was pressed against with.

He just stood in front of the desk of the Chairman of 'Quoram', Park Jaturaphoom.

He waited patiently for his grandfather to show his face.

The leather chair turned around, revealing the emperor of the business empire Jaturaphooms built.

The old man looked at the younger, who was just standing there elegantly; but with his hands in his pockets and a bored look on his face.

The old man's eyes had a knowing look. His gaze was piercing. And it had the same element that all Jaturaphooms had; the domination.

Every Jaturaphoom has eyes of a lion; prideful and domineering.

"I was going to arrange a marriage for you" He rose his voice which voice was strong and sharp as ever, old though he was.

"Were you?" Forth's voice sounded amused, like he was mocking his grandfather.
"Then I hope you already knew that I was going to say no"

Without saying anything Park Jaturaphoom took a file from his desk drawer and put it on the table.

"Then it can't be helped" he said. "I won't meddle with your private business. But I expected you to be more cautious when announcing about someone who is special to you. It seems that love has blinded you"

"My vision is very clear. I know what I'm doing"

Forth pressed his hands on the table and leaned down.
"After all, Forth Jaturaphoom has no enemy. No one would dare to go against me" he hissed. "As long as you stay out of my affairs, I have nothing to worry about"

The old man chuckled."I'm no enemy of yours child"

Forth straightened himself.
"Good. It would be bad for you if you decide otherwise"

The old man sighed. He was not scared of being brought down by Forth. He was afraid of what Forth would become; where the darkness in his soul lead him to.
After all, Forth....

....is a tornado.

He wanted to warn. But at the same time he was not in a position to do so. So he tried to make Forth, see himself.

"You are not a human Forth"

"I'm not. I'm the demon you created" He reminded him in his venomous voice.

The old man laughed at this.
"We both know that is not true" he said. This time it was his turn to mock. "The demon was inside you since the beginning"

Forth had nothing to say for this. He just stared at his employer with his piercing gaze.

The old man handed him the file.
"Four weeks"

Forth suppressed the painful cry, building up in his throat.

"This is the last one" He said in his shaking voice as he took the file.

Park glared at him. "You don't get to take decisions when it comes to business. You will follow my order and do whatever you are told!"

Forth laughed at this for whole 2 minutes. He spoke while wiping the tears, His voice is still shaky from laughing.

"Old age has made you slow old man. Can't you see?" His voice sounded amused and hysterical at the same time. "I'm not your puppet anymore. Actually it's the exact opposite"

He slammed his fist on the desk. "I've been controlling the entire business while you and my brother were sitting here warming your chairs!"

"And when I step down, your empire will fall in no time" with that he turned around to leave.

"If you still think that you have the upper hand in Quoram, you haven't been paying attention, old man"

"Forth!" Park Jaturaphoom called his grandson who was descending from the room.

Forth didn't halt his steps. But he slowed down.

Taking this as a cue, the old man spoke in rather soft voice. Playing his last card. "Won't you change your feelings about that little bird?"

"I won't" he said as he left the room. "That little bird will stay under my wing forever"

"You will protect him from the world" The old man spoke to himself. "But will he be safe from 'you'?"

Forth closed the door behind him and leaned his back against it; his eyes squeezed shut, his breathing uneven.

'You know nothing, old man'

Forth knew that Park Jaturaphoom is losing his grip on his grandson.

At the same time he knew that....

...he was loosing the grip on himself.
