Fifty percent of the Mystic Falls gang stood in the living area of the Salvatore Boarding House as they heard the groaning cries of Stefan Salvatore downstairs in the cells Damon had put him in. It turned out that when Davina the Harvest Witch was able to bring back the Salvatore brother she triggered his memories of thinking he was in his Ripper of Monterey days which was not at all good. Not only was it bad for Mystic Falls in general but he was stuck thinking he was back in the twenties when his Ripper of Monterey days took place which meant he didn't know who half his friends were. Which was again ... not good.

"So to make it seem less complicated, he basically has lost his memories from the twenties to now?" the shortest female of the gang questioned with a raised eyebrow as she had her arms crossed. She couldn't believe she got dragged into being in his presence again.

"Precisely," replied the blonde vampire as she helped sum it up for Cassidy. Cassidy slowly nodded her head as she still thought about it, not really understanding how just that little bit of memories could disappear. It was like half of his life that was completely gone.

"All he remembers is me but he doesn't want to deal with me because mind the twenties we were fighting and he ran off. Pretty positive he doesn't even think we're in Mystic Falls. Probably New Orleans or something," the raven haired vampire shrugged as he seemed very annoyed and he was very annoyed. He was annoyed with the poor work the witch had done, the brunette he told himself he loved but she wasn't sure of her feelings and was standing two people away from him and the tension he felt coming from her was still strong as ever (that part about her feelings was really annoying) and finally with his brother because he wasn't going to listen to anyone.

"Well, maybe if you happened to not always be an ass your brother would love you more. Maybe some other people would too," Caroline looked at Damon sassily as Cassidy, the former hunter and the Bennett witch all exchanged surprised looks. Cassidy wondered if Caroline had been hinting at her but then she didn't quite know why if she was. She glanced at Damon to see his reaction and he didn't seem the happiest by that statement.

She wanted so badly to talk to him, but she know if she were to do that she would be sending him horribly bad mixed signals and part of her continued to tell her she didn't know what to do. Ignoring everything that had just happened up here, she snuck away from everybody and went downstairs to where Stefan was in hopes of getting through to him.

The Ripper of Monterey was going back and forth hitting at the walls trying to get out of the small, confined room he was locked in. He didn't understand why his brother even locked him in there nor did he even remember why he was with his brother in the first place. They were fighting and Stefan completely hated him and wanted to stay away from him. He was having just a good time feeding with no cares in the world. He also wondered when he decided to turn his emotions back on because now he felt this really heavy weight on his chest as he thought about all of the bodies he had laying all over New Orleans.

That was the last place he remembered being but now he was apparently in Mystic Falls with his brother. He had no idea what was going on other than he wanted to get out of there and he was hungry. So hungry.

He heard a steady heartbeat making its way to his cell and once he stopped trying to break the walls he looked up and locked eyes with a pair of brown eyes that looked too familiar. A pair of eyes he thought he hadn't seen since eighteen sixty-four when the two sisters had entered his life, yet this was not who he was thinking it may have been.

"I thought you disappeared?"

The doppelgänger gave him a curious look as a small ray of hope had made it way to her chest that he remembered her; however, she hadn't registered the question because if she would have she would have known he thought she was Hanna Pierce.
