Cassidy and Damon had walked to the front door of the Salvatore Boarding House, the former still having a bright smile on her face after the time the two had in the motel room Damon had gotten for them. Despite the disappointment she had felt from her father after thinking she could always count on him, she was happy that one confusing manor had been taken off her mind. She hadn't regretted confessing her love to Damon and neither had he regretted his confession. Something came out good from yesterday and as she held his hand she couldn't help but to allow the sparks of electricity take over her body.

As the two had entered through the door, there had been two people that was the least expected to be seen after what they had encountered yesterday. Cassidy had stopped in her tracks as the hurt she felt yesterday in auditorium had slowly made its way back to the surface, and she wasn't sure how she had felt about it.

Avery had been thrilled by the news Alaric and his love interest Josette Laughlin had brought into the Salvatore Boarding House and at the success that Damon and Cassidy had on getting the help. At least, she had assumed this was the help Damon had set out on getting, but she slowly felt like something wasn't right by the stunned expression upon her brunette friend's face. She also couldn't help but to notice the hand holding between the Salvatore and Gilbert-Saltzman.

"Ric, you're ... you're here," Cassidy stuttered the obvious, finding herself squeezing at Damon's hand harder. Damon wasn't sure if he should stand there and take the accelerating pain that was beginning to bother him or pull his hand away. He couldn't help but to think for someone that is on an animal diet, she was freakishly strong.

"I didn't want to leave you guys fending for yourselves, so Stefan tells me that Jo needs to do a locator spell for Caroline and Bonnie."

Cassidy had still been standing there stunned, barely comprehending what her father had been telling her. Stefan dipped his head slightly with a raised brow to try and study what was going through Cassidy's mind, but he couldn't quite figure his best friend out at the moment. Other than the obvious that something happened between her and his brother judging by the hand holding between the two.

"Cass?" Stefan is the one to bring her from her thoughts as she shook her head while blinking slowly. She let go of Damon's hand as she walked towards Bonnie and Caroline's bags that she and Avery had retrieved from Caroline's car. She grabbed Bonnie's hair brush and Caroline's wallet and walked toward the table Ric, Jo, Stefan and Avery had been surrounding.

"Yes, a locator spell," she placed the two belongings down on the table in front of Jo.

"As I was explaining to Avery and Stefan, Jo isn't your normal kind of witch," Alaric began to speak and Damon had finally taken it upon himself to join the group. He had mixed emotions toward the father in the room still not being happy with the way he had made Cassidy feel only the night before.

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"Jo has to channel her magic from someone or something. Siphon it if you will. She can't produce her own magic .. she's what the supernatural world calls a Siphoner," Alaric fully explained as he tried his best to ignore the stares that Damon had been giving him. Cassidy had been about to speak until Jo had given an unneeded remark, but still seemed necessary to her to make.

"Or as my coven likes to call us — abominations," she gave a small, uncomfortable smile as she looked down at the belongings, seeing that two locator spells were going to be needed here. She took a deep breath as she saw the stares before her, but still looked back down at the objects as if they would work on their own.

"Now any the three of you could work," Alaric started as he looked amongst the vampires in the room. Before he could explain anymore, Cassidy had spoken up quickly.
