Hanna was finally able to "politely" get out of being with Jeremy so she could go see her two favorite vampires as if she was the girl they both trusted, and she knew that deep down they really weren't smart enough to know she was herself. Once upon a time they were both tricked by her sister which means she can trick them too. It couldn't possibly be that hard.

She smiled as she hopped up the steps and walked in without bothering to knock which slipped her mind that she had probably needed to but she decided against it anyway. It didn't really matter anyway, did it? She figured it was probably a normal thing Cassidy did anyway.

She walked over to the parlor and poured herself a glass of bourbon while she leaned against the bar nonchalantly and dipped her bourbon. She was waiting for one of the boys to come waltzing down the stairs and to her dismay it was Stefan.

"I thought I heard somebody walk inside," he smiled as he locked eyes with whom he had assumed was his best friend. Well, once upon a time she technically was his best friend. She smiled in return although she was disappointed it was Stefan rather than Damon.

"Hey, Stef."

"A little early to be drinking you think?" he took the glass of bourbon into notice as she took a long sip from it before she shrugged.

"It's five o'clock somewhere, am I right?" she refrained from putting on her signature smirk knowing it would most likely give the Petrova away. Stefan hummed as he shoved his hands into the pockets of his jean as he took in her appearance. Stefan knee his best friend and something was telling him that something wasn't right.

"Are you all right, Cass?"

She nearly gagged at the mention of her.

"I'm okay, Stefan. I'm happy to see you," she shrugged as she placed the glass down as she took a couple steps his way. He frowned knowing he hasn't really shown his face as much as he should have been. Especially with needing to be there for his best friend since her brother was going to be leaving soon. Maybe that's what was "bothering her".

"I know," he sighed as he gave a small shrug. "I should be here for you more now than normal. You know, with Jeremy getting ready to leave and all."

Once more, she refrained from rolling her eyes at the mention of the Little Gilbert. If you asked Hanna, she was happy one more Gilbert was leaving the picture. It seemed to make things all that much easier. She played her best saddening frown as she adverted her eyes from Stefan's with as much sadness as possible.

"Yeah, I don't know what I'm going to do when he leaves but I'm happy he's getting away from Mystic Falls, ya know? Away from all of this," she motioned to everything in general hoping that explanation sounded as much like Cassidy as it needed to be. Judging by Stefan's frown and the concern he felt, he bought her acting as just what she wanted. She silently applauded herself.

Stefan took a breath to say something else but the doppelgänger cut him off to eagerly.

"Hey, is Damon here?" she asked curiously as she tilted her head to the side. The youngest Salvatore became curious knowing that she was still so confused on how she felt toward Damon, but he thought that maybe something blossomed at the Miss Mystic Falls pageant. He had also hoped that either her or his brother would tell him.

"He ran off early this morning."

And for what seemed like the millionth time that day, she refrained from rolling her eyes at something she was disappointed in.

xXxXx

The weak vampire let out a weak cough as it had felt like it rattled her ribs to do so. She couldn't feel her insides as she tried to pull herself up onto her feet but it was no use. She was too weak. She was so hungry and every time that warlock dude came around she could hear his blood gushing through his veins.
