I was a mere child when they came. A race of savages, that wiped out all living things. Using up the resources of my home planet and leaving when they were done. Theu kept our kind as slaves and i was kept as a sex slave for a short time intil a woman was able to let me escape. The problem is, I was left alive, on that abandoned planet. I was scared lonely and surrounded by deadth. There was no where I could go that didn't reak of it. It made me scared of staying but I was even more scared to be seen by those monsters again.

Then one day some years later a ship landed on my planet and a new race I have never seen before stepped off.

I sigh as we land on another desolate planet. That ruthless race of savages has run rampant around here. So many species going extinct. We can only hope there is something usable on this planet. We need to stay here a few days so as not to run into those beings. Thankfully its been long enough that the stench of death is gone. "Look around, and report back here I'm sure if there is any life left its not dangerous. If you do happen to find food bring that back too." It seems that plants are growing here, so thats good. I grab the devises to set up our temporary homes.

The wincld changes and I feel eyes on me. Maybe there is still life on this planet. I spin around and look at the forest. "I know your there." There's a rustle of leaves and a voice says "you musn't kill the animals. There is not enough. Take the plants as they reproduce faster." I still can't see who it is, but their voice is almost like they are singing. Then there's a gasp and shuffling before Je'kal comes forward draging someone behind him. "You know better cap, he could be dangerous-"

"I am not. I am the last living Z'Mleik. Release me barbarian!" He is breathing heavily and I see fear in his eyes. "You are not THAT race but there is nothing left for you to take, they destrayed everything and its taken four hundred years to get this planet back to semi piece. It is all I have left and I shall not let you take it." Tears well in his eyes and I feel a sadness for him. It must have been horrible to be left alone on a planet of death with no way off and no will to leave.

"Let him go Je'kal, he is in distress. Besides he has no fighting skills since he would have been a child when this planet was taken." I then address the boy. "We are not here to take more from you. We only wish to stay a couple of day before leaving. You are welcome to leave with us, I don't feel comfortable knowing you have been here so long by yourself. It must have been hard."

These aliens were so strange. The shorter one was more savage but I sensed great knowledge and understanding from the other one. "You may stay and rest but do not hunt the animals and only take the fruits I allow as some are extremely poisonous."

I say and turn and walk away. I hesr then follow me and the one he calle Je'kal? Grumbles about me being a pansey or something. The other steps forward and asks "so, may we know your name?" I peek at him before shaking my head and jumping into a tree taking my path to the place I stay.

My eye widen when I see two more rummaging in my things. "That is not yours! Do not touch!!" I jump over and take the book of pictures. My hands shake and I carefully place it back where it goes. "Sorry, man. We found your digs and got curious." "These are the only artifacts left of my race. It is imperative that they are preserved...I am the only one left to remember..." My voice cracks and I struggle not to cry. It has been four hundred years and I am still haunted by the memories.

"I inderstand your pain. The weight of a race left on your shoulders. My planet was wiped out by those warmongers as well, but I was unaware until I came back when the destruction was done. I lost my mate amd kids and never knew..." the man that had the book says. "I wish I had saved peices of history like you. Something to remember them by if only for a moment."
