Jihoon's POV

I'll never leave you

Lie number 2.

Sometimes I'd find myself sitting alone in the corner of my room. The lonely feeling that's slowly taking over me as I cry, always make me feel useless. I had nobody, and I was aware. That thought alone is one of the worst things I could ever think of.

He said he'll never leave me. He said he'd be by my side. He promised, too. But aren't promises meant to be broken?

Now I'm the one who's broken. I'm shattered into millions of pieces I can never put back together. Funny thing is that I'll leave it that way. Why would I bother fixing myself if there was no reason to, and if I would repeatedly get hurt?

Flashback

I'm alone and scared. I got locked up by random people in some place I didn't know of. Nobody bothered to help me, because all of them were against me.

Soonyoung however, would be the only hope I have.

I had to walk alone today because he had something to do. Since I was walking alone, anyone, I mean everyone, is free to bully me. They know I can't fight back. I'm weak and that's a big problem.

My thoughts were cut off by a loud bang on the door together with a person shouting.

Could it be....soonyoung?

*banging door* "Jihoon! Are you in there? Can you hear me? Jihoon?!"

Hearing his panicked voice made me feel safe. Even if I can sense his uneasiness in his voice, I still smiled. Why, you may ask? Because no matter what happens, he always found me, and he always came to "rescue" me.

*bangs again* "Jihoon?! Answer me! Are you there?" He asked once again, still banging on the locked door.

I gathered up some strength and tried to make my voice be heard on the other side.

"Soonyoung?" I said calmly. I guess it was loud enough for him to hear.

"Jihoon? Are you there?" He asked once more, and this time, it was calmer and softer.

"Yeah.... Please get me out.." I replied once more, still maintaining that calmness in my voice.

"Wait for me! I'll find a way to get you out!" Those were the last words he said before I heard him run away.

After a few more minutes, the door opened.

"Jihoon!" Soonyoung rushed to me and hugged me tightly, it was as if he didn't want to let me go.

"Are you okay?" He asked me as he looked at me with worry.

"Yeah I'm fine. Thanks for saving me here" I said, giving him a very warm smile.

"It's those guys again huh? Don't worry, I'll make sure they'll pay for this hm? Come on let's go." Soonyoung helped me stand up and guided me as we walked outside.

"Next time, I'll never leave you. I can't loose you and I can't stand you getting hurt. When you're hurt, I also get hurt." Once again, Kwon Soonyoung made my mood a little bit lighter and happier.

End of flashback

Soonyoung used to be my savior. He used to be my protector. He used to be by my side. He used to be with me. Now all that is left is memories I had with him. All those memories were hurtful for they made me remember a liar. A liar who promised to stay by my side but is now away from me.

Soonyoung, why did you leave me when you said you'll never do?
