Just a little update for you guys nothing major yet!

Cameron POV
I was sitting in my office waiting for Aleyah and the kids to come join me for lunch. Tomorrow is our second first date and I couldn't be more excited.
"Mr. Phillips?" Mindy walks in. "You have a visitor." she steps aside to reveal Tiffany in a short red dress. She looked like her old self, the one with tons of make up and whatnot. "I'll be in my cubicle sir." Mindy closes the door behind her.
"Uh, hey Tiff what can I do for you?" I sit my coffee aside.
"I just came to thank you." she smiles.
"Oh don't mention it, it was no big deal." I shrug it off. Pretending to be busy with papers in front of me.
"No Cam, I want to thank you." she comes closer. I stand up.
"It's fine Tiffany really." I take a step back for every step she made in my direction. She pulls her dress down, and it pools around her feet. I give her a once over, not meaning to, but I mean I'm a guy... We always look. She ran her hands over her pink lace bra and matching underwear. She backs me into a wall.
"But I owe you." she begans kissing my neck, I don't know why, but I actually hesitated to stop her. It just felt right. I push her away.
"You need to leave. I'm happily married to Aleyah. This is wrong." I walk back to my desk. "This is not you Tiffany, please put your dress back on." She just continues to seduce me, pushing me onto my chair. She climbs onto my lap.
"Cameron, you're not happy. It's written all over your face." she kisses my lips. I quickly pull away.
"Tiffany. Stop."
"Wow." I hear a voice say. Aleyah. Oh shit. She covers Maddy's eyes, turning Nolan the other way. Mindy stood with them, mouth wide open.
"I'll take them to go get ice cream. C'mon guys." Mindy says grabbing Maddy and Nolan's hands. Aleyah just stood there. Not the slightest frown or a hint of anger. More like she was thinking.
"Cameron, you said she wasn't coming?" Tiffany says. "You prom-"
"Wha-NO! She's lying Aleyah!" I get up knocking her to the floor. It didn't make it any better that I was slightly aroused. "Leave." I tell Tiffany before walking towards Aleyah.
"Um, maybe we should do lunch another time." She says. I look into her eyes, not sure if she realized how calm she sounded. Nothing. Just a blank expression.
"Aleyah..."
"Yeah?"
"You're not yelling at me... Or going off."
"Why would I do that?" she fake smiles raising an eyebrow. I just stare.
"Aleyah, I'm so sorry, he told me it was over between you two. You're such a dog Cameron." Tiffany shakes her head walking out the door.
"Aleyah, it was not what it looked like at all."
"Okay." She shrugs.
"Wait you don't care?"
"I don't know. Does it seem like it?"
"Aleyah, she came in here and just sedu-"
"It's alright Cameron." she smiles, but I could hear her voice waver. "I get it. I'll see you when you get home. I don't really have an apetite anymore." She nods and slowly turn on her heels. I grab her hand.
"You're not mad at me?"
"You don't deserve my anger anymore Cameron." she shrugs and pulls her hand away. I watch her walk away not sure if I just lost her for good.
Aleyah POV
I held it in. I held it all in. And honestly I don't think Cmaeron did anything wrong, but I don't see us working out at all anymore. I will just deal with him though, for Madelyn and Nolan.
"Mommy, what was Daddy doing in there?" Maddy asks in the car.
"He was being selfish. Inconsiderate. An asshole. A liar. A cheater. He was being himself."
"Are you sad Mommy?"
"No. I'm not." I lie. I was dying inside. "Would you and Nolan like to stay at Nanny's tonight with me?"
"Yes!"
"Me love Nanny!" Nolan says.
"Alright, Nanny's it is."
I pull into my parents' driveway after packing an overnight bag for the kids and I. My Mom opens the door, and her face saddens when she sees mine.
"How about you two go find Andy and Alex!" she smiles to Maddy and Nolan and they run off. After getting me set up in my old bedroom, she just opens her arms and hugs me, and almost instantly I let out the tears that I fought to keep in.
"He can't possibly love me Mama." I cry. It hurt. I don't know what went on, but it didn't seem too innocent when I walked in.
"He does baby, he does. I know he does. Now we don't want your father to see you in tears or you may never see Cameron again."
"Then I'm gonna make sure he does."
"You don't mean that. What happened sweetie, we take a seat on the bed. I explain it to her. And we sat for hours talking.
"That dirty bastard." My mom snaps. "I had no idea y'all relationship was like this. Why didn't you come to me Leyah?"
"I don't know. I thought we could handle this ourselves. I thought that was part of growing up, not being so spoiled and running to my Mom and Dad when things get hard." I frown wiping my eyes.
"I just still think the story is a little fishy. I mean you did say she snapped at you about not going after married men, and then this happens? Something's not adding up Leyah."
"I know but I don't think I can take it anymore Mama."
"Let's not talk ending things for now. Let's talk about fixing-"
"I'm so tired of hearing that. Maybe some things are meant to stay broken."
"That doesn't count for families darling."
"It does too. I just don't understand. What have I done to deserve this from him?" my phone rings. It was Cameron. I look at my mom.
"Take the call." she sighs. "I'm gonna go start dinner and check on the kids. She leaves the room.
"Hello?"
"Aleyah? I came home early and wanted to talk."
"I'm not coming home tonight Cameron."
"Aleyah, where are you? Don't do this okay? I have surveillance cameras in my office and I can prove to you that I didn't do anything wrong."
"Cameron-"
"No this is our redo. This is our chance to fix things for good, and I'm not letting a misunderstanding mess this up Aleyah. Where are you?"
"Can we just talk about it tomorrow when I get home?"
"We have a date tomorrow night... Remember?"
"About that-"
"You're not cancelling on me Aleyah. Where are you damnit?" he yells. I just hang up. Why was I being fussed at when I wasn't caught in the act with my ex?
