Chapter 15

So I'm starting a thing.

There's gonna be character interviews at the end of each chapter!

I just think they're fun :)

Anyway, onward to the chapter!

Hiccup's POV

"Hiccup you really have to calm down stressing out is not going to do you any good."

"What else am I supposed to do mom? Just sit here while the love of my life and only child are missing?! I can't do that!" I shouted. "I'm sorry." I said much quieter.

"Hiccu it's okay. But the village needs a chief right now. One that can be worried but also stay calm under pressure." I sighed and sat in my chair.

"I can try but I reaally don't know if I can keep calm for very long. It's already been 3 days."

"They'll be fine. Astri is a fighter and Mercy is intelligent. Together, nothing can stop them."

Astrid's POV

I can't take anymore of this. The constant cuff tightening, the disgusting food, and horrible treatment. We had to bust out of here and fast. 

"I hate these locks! My knife isn't thin enough to fit." Mercy said as she tried to pick the lock of her cage.

"Try mine." I said and pulled it out of my boot. I slid it under the door and it went under hers.

"Is this that weird Gronckle Iron stuff that dad's shield is made of?" She asked.

"Yeah how did you know?"

"Light, thin, durable. I just figured." She explained and started to figit with the lock. "These locks are basically impossible."

"Well if you can't get it open that's okay we'll figure out another way." I said and looked around.

"Well maybe if I filed down this spoon from the wretched food they gave us, I could use it." She explained.

"How long will that take?"

"Depends on how think the wood is and how sharp your knife is. The wood is about 2 centimeters thick and your knife is pretty sharp. Maybe a few hours." She said and started cutting the wood.

"Okay. I'll think of ways to get us out of here. And if any guard comes put the knives and wood in your boots. The guards can not see them." As soon as I said that, I heard the heavy iron doors of the entrance squeak. There were multiple boot steps coming closer and closer. I sat in the spot I was originally in.

"Ugh what is that smell don't you idiots ever clean this place?!" Someone shouted. Ugh great. Dagur.

"Ah you're awake. Good." He said and opened my door. Two guards came over to me and tightened my cuffs. "You know if you had just given it to me when you found it this all could have been avoided." He said and examined a knife blade.

"Given you what."

"Don't act like you don't know. You have a young skrill on Berk and decided not to share the news with your old pal Dagur."

"You were never a friend Dagur."

"Well my father and Hiccup's father were friends. Oh and the bonding time with Hiccup. How is that little shrimp?" He asked menacingly.

"You don't care how he is. If you really did care I wouldn't be here."

"Well you're in luck. You see its been a week. And you and your precious little devil are getting out of here." He said. I looked over his shoulder and saw men carying Mercy by her arms out of the prison.

"DON'T YOU DARE HURT HER!" I shouted and ran towards the door, but was stopped when two guards came and lifted me and carried me the same direction as the others.

"You see Astrid, I gave Hiccup exactly one week to bring me that skrill. And its been a week."

"What are you going to do if he doesn't give up the skrill?" I asked nervously.

"Ah well that's the fun part. If it isn't here in the next hour, you two, are dead." I gulped and stayed silent.

Hiccup's POV

"Okay that's it I can't take it anymore. I'm going to Dagur's island and getting my family back." I said and marched outside, then hopped on Toothless.

"Not without us." Allysa said and cleared her throat. I turned around and saw the gang ready on their dragons.

"Thanks guys. I really don't think I can do this by myself."

"Of course not. Where would yo be without us?" Snotlout said sarcastically, which earned him a punch in the shoulder from Allysa.

"Shut up." She said and mounted her dragon, then cam along side me. "So was he always like that?"

"Yes actually." I said as we took off.

"What's the plan?"

"Well Dagur said in the note that they would be at the northshore cliff. So if we fly there, we can catch him in time, and save Astrid and Mercy."

"Great plan, but how are you going to save both of them?" She asked as she pushed a piece of hair off her face.

"That's where you come in. You're going to fly as fast as possible, and catch Mercy while I do the same but with Astrid. The rest of the gang will fight off Dagur's men until we have both girls."

"I like it."

 We flew fo about 10 more mintues at high speed, before the cliff came into view. I saw 5 people at the cliff. Two were being held by chains while dangling over the edge, while the three men stood on solid land. I stopped Toothless and Violet and we hovered in the air.

"Where is it Hiccup?" Dagur asked with a glare.

"No matter how many times you try Dagur you won't get me, or Toothless, or Astrid, or Mercy, or the skrill. You might as well just let them go now." I said.

"Great idea Hiccup." He said and snapped his fingers. The guards released the chains and Astrid and Mercy plummeted.

"ALLYSA!" I shouted.

"ON IT!" She shouted in reply and sped off. I dove down as fast as I could and grabbed Astrid's chains. I pulled her up to Toothless's saddle and she held my shoulders. She quietly sobbed as i rubbed her back.

"You're okay. You're safe and nothing is ever going to happen to you. I promise." I kissed her forehead. I saw a purple figure fly towards us. "Is Mercy okay?" I asked with a panicked voive. I saw Allysa holding her bridal style.

"Hiccup... she's unconcious." She said with sadness.

I'll update probably tomorrow and maybe Saturday I'm not sue what m schedule is like but I'll fit in at least somw writing.

Allysa: Hi!

me: so how's Berk in your opinon?

Allysa: I love it so much.

me: how would you exlain your relationship with Hiccup?

Allysa: it's like he's a long lost brother to me and i'm his long lost sister.

me: any romantic interests? *wiggles eyebrows*

Allysa: ...uh no....

me: alright... well thanks for coming in!

Allysa: thanks for having me!
