Chapter 48

Hey Guys!

Before I start the chapter, I need to apologize for it being so late.

As you know, I was in Disneyland and then I saw my best friend and I got distracted.

Anyway, I met Hiro and Baymax in Tomorrow Land!! It was SO COOL I TOTALLY FANGIRLED!!!

It's ok though he didn't judge me for fangirling.

Anyway, Hiro and I talked about fanfiction and it turns out that he reads Big Hero 6 stories (lol) and I told him I wrote, and he said I should write a BH6 story!

so I think I might.

no regrets.

Mercy's POV

I stood by the firepit in the Great Hall in my nicest clothes and my best smile. My dad had his hand on my shoulder, and Mom was holding Stoick to my left. Toothless was behind all of us, wrapping his tail by out feet. Stormfly just had her head poking out from behind us. I'll admit, standing like this is tiring. I just wanna lay on the floor and go to sleep right now. I was n my nicest clothes, black cloth pants, a light grey t-shirt with a black vest and my normal boots, which were a dark shade of brown. It elt like we had been stading hre for hours, but I'm wathcing th elight outside from the doors of the Great Hall, which were cracked open just a bit. Ugh I wish there was a thing that just took a picture with the press of a button or something. That would be much easier.

"How long have we been standing here like this?" I whispered wih out moving any other parts of me.

"About an hour." Dad replied in the same whisper. "Why do you ask?"

"Because being still and quiet like this is driving me nuts. I'm not a very calm person."

"You really think I don't know that?" He asked sarcastically. "And besides, you'll have to do this again."

"What? Oh no way is that happening. Why?"

"I'll tell you when we're done here."

"What are you two babbling about?" Mom asked. Dad whispered something into her ear that I couldn't hear. "Oh. Ok. Well be still. Both of you." She faced forward again and smiled. I looked towards the doors and tried to figure out a way to pass the time.

-1 hour later-

"All done!" Bucket announced. I almost sprinted out of the Great Hall.

"Bucket this looks amazing! Mercy come here and look at this!" Mom told. I groaned slightly and trotted over to the painting.

"Looks great. Now can I go? I've been couped up in a building for hours. I'm going crazy!"

"Yes Mercy you can go. Be back at the house for dinner." Dad said and I raced out towards Jade's house. Once I was there I frantically knocked on the door.

"Gods Mercy one knock is enough don't you think?" Jade groaned with a tired look.

"Did you just wake up?"

"Yes. It's 9:30."

"Oh wow. Well get dressed I just got done with the portrait and I need to do something. Meet back here, I'll go get Cody." I went off to his house as she shut her door. His house was only about 2 doors down so it didn't take me long. I repeated my frantic knocking, only this time I didn't get a tired answer.

"Hey! How did the painting go?" He greeted.

"Went great, looked fabulous now come on I need to do something today!" I said as I dragged him by his arm back towards Jade's house. I knocked on her door once again, but this time less frantically since my hand hurt from knocking so much.
