"Dude I just-I really messed up." Benny said as he walked down the hallway with Ethan.
"Yeah I could've told you that." Ethan said, "Have you tried talking to her?"
"No, I'm too scared! I don't know how many messages I've almost sent to her. I just feel really stupid." Benny said.
"Look," Ethan said, "I'm not supposed to tell you this, but you really want to know the reason she was upset last night?"
"Yes, I do!" Benny whined.
"She likes you. Now stop being so stupid and do something about it!" Ethan said, "Stop flirting with other girls, stop acting as if you can have every girl in the world. She compares herself to Frankie all the time, and you don't do any justice by saying how attractive Frankie is. All you do is gush over Erica and then wonder why Juniper distances herself away from us and doesn't want to hangout with us. You make her feel like she isn't good enough because she's not Erica."
"Ouch dude, harsh." Benny said.
"Well I'm sorry but I'm tired of being in between this. You're both super stubborn, we're in the middle of fighting supernatural and neither of you want to just admit you like each other, and move on with it." Ethan replied, opening his locker.
"Just-just admit I like her?" Benny said, "No, not right now."
"Then shut up. Apologize to her and be her friend right now." Ethan slammed his locker door shut, walking away.
Benny quickly following behind, walking outside where they waited for Juniper in their usual spot. She didn't get on the bus that morning, so both Ethan and Benny were kind of hoping she'd show up.
"Guys what's up?!" Rory asked, walking up to the two with sunglasses on and a bit of sunscreen on his nose.
"Rory we thought you were dead." Ethan said, his eyes wide.
"All I know, is that I woke up this morning feeling awesome. No asthma, I don't need my glasses and I barely have to sleep anymore. The only thing that bothers me is the sun, kind of annoying." Rory said, "Hey beautiful, like the new and improved Rory?"
Benny and Ethan turned, seeing Juniper and an unknown brunette walking up next to you.
"You're alive?!" Juniper asked, before reaching forward and pulling the blonde into a hug.
"See? I'm way more awesome now than I was last night." Rory said with a smug smile, as Juniper pulled away.
"Where have you been all day?" Ethan asked.
"Not important. Anyways, Rory what happened to you? Are you a fledgling." Juniper asked quietly.
"Heck no, I'm rockin' the full on vampire action dudes! The big V, can I get a what what?" Rory held both of his hands out for high fives, and Juniper rolled her eyes as she slapped the boys hand away.
