Chapter 9 - Without Him - Rachel's POV

I arrived at the hospital and ran to the emergency room. "Excuse me miss! You can't go back there!" the nurse said. "My boyfriend and I just got into a car accident and I have to make sure he's okay!" I went to the front desk and asked where Finn Hudson's room was. The receptionist told me he's in room 326 and I ran to him. I walked up to his bedside and he looked horrible. Still, I preferred this look on him rather than death. He was still unconscious but the nurse said he'd be alright. "Hey, Rachel. How's he doing?" Puck asked. "Oh, hey. It's nice to see you. He's not good, but the doctor said he'll live." "That's great. What happened? I heard it was a car accident?" I didn't feel like telling him Finn got into a fight with my former boss and then he tried to kill us. "Yeah. Some car just came out of nowhere." I replied. "Are you fine? Have you seen a doctor yet?" "Uh, yeah. I'm fine. Just a little sore, but I need to be with Finn right now." He sat down next to Finn and held his head. I could see tears streaming down his face before he quickly wiped them. About 5 of Finn's friends and his mom came 10 minutes later. Mercedes, Brittney, his stepbrother Kurt, and Kurt's husband Blaine came in. His ex-girlfriend Quinn also came to check on him. "So, this is the slut that caused Finn to be hospitalized?" Quinn said. "Quinn, relax." said Kurt. "No. It's the truth. You were all thinking it right? I'll just be leaving now." I told them. "It was nice meeting you Rachel. Sorry it had to be in the hospital, but it's nice to see the girl my son is crazy about." Carol, his mother, said. I nodded my head and left. I've never met any of Finn's friends or family. I hated that I felt this was all my fault, but they're right. I just can't be without him right now. I love him.
