*5 months later*

It's been 5 months since the argument Finn and I had. He rented a one bedroom not too far from the house. He comes to see Dan almost everyday. We talk, but it's not the same. Today, I want to forget all the drama and have a good time because it's my birthday. Kurt, Mercedes, and Santana are taking me out tonight while Blaine watches Dan and his and Kurt's daughter. I was hoping that Finn would attend, but he said he was busy. I got to Kurt's house with Dan around 9 o'clock. "Happy 25th birthday Rachel!" they yelled as they threw confetti at me. "Thank you, guys." I went to the living room to put Daniel down in a play pen. "Thanks Blaine, for staying with the kids while we go out tonight." I said. "It's fine. I don't mind staying with my daughter and god son." he replied. "Alright babe, we're leaving now. I'll call you later."Kurt said as he gave his husband a goodbye kiss. We took Kurt's car to some club called Electric. Kurt bought a V.I.P. section for us. We ordered a couple shots and I tried to forget about Finn and all the drama. I saw Kurt sitting down so I went over to him. "Why are you sitting here alone at a party?" I asked. "Because I'm the designated driver and I'm married. Speaking of married, what's up with you and Finn. I heard he's seeing some one." he said. My heart dropped. I know that we're taking a break, but I never expected Finn to move on so quickly. "Uh, did he tell you that?" "No, Carol told my dad and he told me. I think her name is Sarah." I was suddenly not in the mood to party anymore. About 30 minutes later we decided to leave and since Kurt was the only sober one, he drove Santana and Mercedes home. I slept over Kurt's house with Dan because alcohol plus finding out your husband is dating someone else isn't the best way to drive home. I took a shower then crawled into bed with my s? weon. This wasn't the way I wanted to end my birthday, but I'm glad for my son. He's the only guy in my life.
