It's been a month since Rachel and I got married and she had the babies. It's also been a month since Hope died. Even though we'll all miss her, we have to move on in life. I planned something special for Rachel tonight. My mom and Burt agreed to watch Daniel for the weekend while we get away for a while. "Finn, can you please just tell me where we are going?" she asked me. "It's a surprise." I replied. Since Rachel gave birth right after our wedding, we never got the chance to have a honeymoon. Also, we haven't had sex in over a month. "Burt and my mom should be here in a couple more minutes. Are you gonna go say bye to Daniel now?" I asked her. Rachel always takes 5 minutes just to say bye to our son. "I will. But are you sure we just can't bring him with us?" "This trip is just for us" I said as I grabbed and hugged her. "Daniel will be here with his grandparents and he'll be fine." I assured her. "Okay, I guess I'm just really gonna miss him." she said. "That's why we are going away this weekend and we're gonna have fun." I said before I kissed her passionately. "Okay." she said as she wanted to the nursery. I was absolutely sure everything was going to go back to normal.
