Chapter twelve - That felt oddly like one of our missions.
After a couple of days of brainstorming and planning, Tony and Thor had Peters outfit completely planned out. At first Tony wanted to make him a full body suit but Thor said it would be too hot and uncomfortable so they settled for just the helmet over a grey shirt, green checkered shirt and dark blue jeans and of course shoes. Nike's to be exact. Overall extremely pleased with the outfit they showed it off and explained it to the others.
"This is Peters costume! The helmet is connected to Jarvis and if he ever needs us Jarvis can notify us through a signal that will be sent through theses bracelets. (He gave one to Natasha.) The helmet is light so he won't have any strain on his neck or spine and he can of course breathe and take it off easily by pressing the button here (Tony pointed to a large circular button with the word 'off' on the side of the helmet. So? What do you think?" He asked anticipating the team's answers. They gave mumbles of appreciation and Natasha grinned widely,
"Peter will love it! We have to tell him!" She said smiling. She quickly headed upstairs to get him. He turned to Thor grinning.
"We did it!" He said.
"We did indeed." He replied pulling him in for a hug. Tony awkwardly patted his back whilst being crushed by the large man. The heard the hitter patter of small feet cross the landing as Peter ran in pulling a bewildered Loki behind him and a snickering Natasha following, he had crossed paths with them as Natasha was bringing Peter out of his room. Peter looked around wide-eyed. They had already explained Hallows eve as the team had decided that they preferred it to Halloween to Peter and he was extremely excited as the party was 3 hours away. He was jumping up and down having switched from Loki's hand to his tailor-made suit leg. Tony carefully presented him with his brand new Iron Man helmet and Thor grabbed the outfit from the deal. Peter screamed, he actually screamed with joy and ran forward grabbing the helmet and racing around the room grabbing onto the places on each of the team members he could reach which usually consisted of their pant legs. He shoved it in their faces and pressed the buttons on the helmet staring in wonder as the helmet flapped open and closed and as it made cool whooshing sounds that he was constantly imitating. After a while, he, fortunately, calmed down, after an hour, of running around, he was a wonderful child. They quickly fed him up and started setting up the room for the party. There would be two rooms adjoined by a doorway. The adults would have alcohol and finger snacks while the kids had bowls of popcorn and treats and lots of lemonade with an assortment of cushions and blankets. In the evening at about 5 p.m. they would go trick or treat till at least 6 or 6:30 p.m.

Jusf before the party started they managed to get Peter in his outfits for he had been running around the living room naked his hair dripping from the recent bath. If had taken the Avengers combined efforts to capture him."That felt oddly like one of our missions." Clint had said wiping the sweat geo. His brow as Natasha changes him.
"Agreed," Loki said. "I watched you guys struggle on the difficult missions I gave you with the Chitauri. That was gold," he said, as an explanation, for the missions they had done with him were pretty small. Never actually needed the entire group. He usually just tagged along if they went out.
"Ready." Natasha huffed. Toddlers are difficult, very difficult. She decided. Soon enough they heard JARVIS through the speakers.
"Sir, there seems to be a large assortment of children as well as adults outside clamouring to be let in. One guy seems to be shouting profanities." JARVIS said.
"How long have you kept them waiting, JARVIS?" Tony asked confused.
"Sir, I have kept them waiting for exactly 23 minutes and 34 seconds," JARVIS said. The team gasped.
"JARVIS?! Let them in!" Tony cried.
"Yes, sir," JARVIS said. The room lapsed into silence. Soon enough people streamed into the role as the team immediately started apologizing and explaining about JARVIS and Peter running around naked. Which a lot of adults had laughed at sharing their own horrifying stories of their own children. As the adults loosened up and continued chatting the children were sent to the room. The snacks were gobbled up as epic games of hide and seek and tag began. At exactly 5 p.m. the children joyfully ran outside following the route Natasha had laid out for them in Jacko Lanterns as they ran from house to house filling up their baskets to the brim with candy and sweets of all kinds as the adults followed close behind. When they all got back many of the adults stayed to chat for a while whilst some of the families left because of the fact that their children were exhausted etcetera etcetera etcetera. Soon enough all the adults and children had filed out leaving the Avengers to clean up and put the tired Peter to bed. But during all the excitement of the day, no one had noticed a figure sneak into the tower.
The next day the Avengers woke up pretty late and as Loki traipsed to Peters room to say 'Good Morning' he noticed something odd. The door was standing wide open. He gently stepped into the room to see that the little bed was empty and the window was swung open. Loki ran to the window to see that there was a sticky string attached to the window frame leading down. It looked like the substance spiders use to weave their webs, then it dawned on him.
Peter was gone.
Hello, hello, hello! I know, it's been awhile. I am so sorry!!! I had a bit of a writer's block with this story so I spent most of my time focussing on school. We were learning about the Greek Era which spurred me to write ' Olympus High' so check it out if you would like that! Who do you think was the guy in the trench coat? Did he abduct Peter or did Peter leave himself?
Seeya!
