[I just wanted to add here that MJ doesn't know that Peter is Spiderman, nor that he is the son of Tony.]

Chapter sixteen - Stop guilt-tripping me!

Tony was confused. Very confused. But, since he got his memories back he now knew what he had to do.

Peter had to go to school. He had missed 5 months of school! I mean, he missed out on so much learning. Now during the time, he was at school the Avengers could formulate a plan to take down Gatum. After a lot of brainstorming with Bruce, they both decided that it was clear what Gatum wanted. He was taking villains from the past and letting them loose on their respected nemesis. For example Steve and Red Skull. He would send them to the past, or to the future where they would fight their nemesis and it was quite possible that they would win. Who knows which villain he could unleash next? Vulture? The Abomination? It was all too weird. So the only solution was to send Peter back to school. This way Peter could focus on other things and draw his thoughts away from Avenger things.

But, sadly. When he broke the news to Peter after discussing it with the Avengers to which they had all agreed, Peter point-blank refused.

"You can't make me go!" Peter yelled, showing clear frustration on his face. The Avengers living room was thick with tension as everyone stared at the angered teen.

"Peter, we all agree that you have to go to school. You have missed school for the past 5 months!" Tony said angrily glaring at the kid.

"You need me here!" Peter shouted in a last attempt to convince the team that he shouldn't have to go to school.

"Peter, go to school. Your friends have been worrying about you! No one at your school knows you are my son! That press conference you did when you were a baby? That was the last time the world saw me with a child. You have no valid reason as to why you were gone other than you were horribly ill and couldn't accept any visitors! MJ and Ned? They were calling and calling your phone but you never responded. They were all so worried! Are you gonna subject them to that, when they don't deserve that?" Tony said furiously slamming his fist down on the table.

"Don't bring them into this. Stop guilt-tripping me!" Peter yelled.

"маленький паук, you have only one choice. That is going to school. Nobody knows where you are and the school is seeking a valid explanation. You have to go back." Natasha reasoned with Peter.

"Young Peter, your education, though it may not seem important at the moment, is quite valid and is needed if you would like to have an as normal as possible childhood." Loki supplied. Peters' mouth flapped open as he tried to think of an excuse. His three favourite members of the Avengers, Dad, Aunt Nat and Uncle Loki. They were all against him! He frowned and mumbled,

"Fine, I'll go to school," he muttered darkly. His face was one of pure betrayal.

"Hah! You owe me 60 bucks!" Clint yelled he jumped up sticking his hands in front of Natasha's face.

"If you want to continue shooting those arrows I suggest you remove your hand from my face Birdy," Natasha said, oddly calm.

"You guys' bet on me?" Peter asked incredulously. Clint and Natasha glanced up as Natasha was grabbing her wallet from the front pocket of her leather jacket.

"Oh, yeah. We bet on when you would cave, Natasha said after she said something, I said after Loki said something." Clint said gleefully holding his allowance. He then threw himself onto the sofa as he counted the dollars as Natasha gave him her legendary ice-cold glare.

Peter ran out of the Stark Towers as fast as he could, he was late, as per usual on his first day back from being trapped in a different timeline. He wasn't going to lie but as much as he wanted to see MJ and Ned again he would prefer to just be home, in bed, contemplating his life choices as every normal teenager does. No matter, his powers he was horribly out of breath when he slid into his homeroom just mere seconds before the second bell went. The moment the boy practically glided into the room the class fell deadly silent. Peter just stood in front of the class his heart thumping as he stared at the bewildered faces. He then landed on MJ and Ned. They were sitting at the back of the class. His spot was empty but in front of it, where it usually wasn't occupied sat a new girl. Suddenly a voice cut through the silence,

"Mr Parker, how wonderful that you join us, [pause, in which Mr Twit checked his wrist watch] 5 months too late. Please sit down in your respective seat." Mr Twit said, he then clapped his hands as Peter practically sprinted blushing wildly in shame to his seat. He plopped himself down and then felt a tap on his shoulder. He looked to his left. MJ was glaring at him whilst profusely mouthing,

'Where the hell were you?' he looked to his right to see Ned who was scribbling on his notebook, he passed it to Peter and on it stood,

Peter, what the heck? Where the frick were you? You are telling us everything. I think you should tell MJ about you-know-what.

- Ned

Peter responded with,

Ok, ok, I'll tell you guys everything. Even MJ.

- Peter

Ned frowned at the note and he proceeded to stare at the clock waiting for the bell to go, to signal their next period. When Peter glanced back at MJ she mouthed,

'You better tell me everything.'

After a long 50 minutes, Peter yawned having not gotten enough sleep the night prior. He grabbed his stuff and then he was being forcefully dragged out of the classroom, by none other than dear, kind MJ. Closely followed by Ned.

"We have a free period now, you better spill your guts," MJ said angrily.

Peter glanced over at Ned and he gave him an apologetic look. She dragged him outside and she shoved him down as he sat leaning against the school building, shaded and hidden by a large oak tree.

"Well, you see I'm -"
