Snape breaks the intense eye contact with you and releases the bond from your arm. The silver magical vines fade away as you both disconnect, the burning pain subsides while you rub your arm. You just performed the Unbreakable Vow. And now, there was no getting out of it...

You were ready to finally learn the truth about your parents...What they were hiding from you all of these years. You wished they were still alive to tell you themselves, you almost feel as if you're going behind their backs...

"Take a seat then Miss White...you're going to be here a while." Snape sighs, taking a seat himself at his desk. He rubs his emotionless face as he wonders where in Merlin's name he was supposed to start with this whole catastrophic story.

"You've known the Malfoy's all of your life. Correct?" He raises a brow at you, as you sit down.

"Yes, my mother met Mrs. Malfoy at school and they were best friends since... I guess when my father came on the scene he then became friends with her too and then with Lucius. My father was very close with him, especially."

It was true, your parents were incredibly close with the Malfoy's, you never thought much of it though. You and Draco were always pushed to the side whenever each of your parents were visiting each other. You didn't tend to be included with any 'adult' conversations, hence you never got to know them.

"Your father became involved in business with Lucius. He was in a lot of debt, and he was extremely desperate, Lucius gave your father the money he needed and of course Lucius expected something from him in return..."

This was also true, you remember your parents arguing about money a lot when you were little. You remember overhearing them in a rather heated discussion about your father spending too much time in the 'Hog's Head', frittering money on drinking and buying dodgy items from it's clientele. You didn't mind not having the nice, expensive things that Draco had, you just wanted your parents to be happy, and spend more time with you rather than the constant meetings they attended at Malfoy Manor. It made you dismal, to think about the immense amount of stress they must have been going through back then. You just wished they wouldn't have had to go the Malfoy's for help, but you having no other family made it their only choice.

"Lucius then got your father interested in a bunch of Pureblood supremacy rubbish!" He spat. "They both became brainwashed with it all , which lead to them getting involved with the Dark Lord." Snape still had the same emotionless expression on his face.

"Involved w-with...d-does this mean he was..." you stutter, you couldn't manage to spit your words out.

"A Death Eater? Yes. At first he was a distant supporter of the Dark Lord, he didn't attend any of the formal meetings, but after a while he proved his loyalty, earning his spot at the table as a Death Eater."

Your mind was cluttered by nonsense. You couldn't comprehend what Snape had just told you. You couldn't believe it. Your own father...one of those despicable human weapons. A Death Eater...It just couldn't be true!

"You're lying. My father was a great man, a very kind and loving dad to me. W-why are you saying this!" It was impossible for you to shout, your throat burned as you tried to hold back your tears. You started shaking, a nauseating feeling growing in your stomach, you just couldn't believe this.

"I-I knew you weren't ready to hear all of this Miss White... you're too weak!" He sternly slams his fist on his desk, making the bottle of ink spill over.

You couldn't comprehend anything. You just sat, watching as the ink pools over the edge of his desk. Your heart racing, your ears ringing, your head felt as if it was going to explode...
