(y/p) - Your Patronus (if you don't know what your patronus is then just fill the blank with your favourite animal.)
Snape began to shout dreadfully loudly at Draco, you could tell he was absolutely fuming. His rage suddenly fell completely silent, indicating a silencing charm had been casted within Snape's office. You gulped, not knowing what Draco was going through in there made you terribly nervous. You just hoped and prayed to Merlin that Snape wasn't too harsh on Draco, after all it was your fault as well for laughing, so you were partly to blame. You slumped down against the wall, sitting on the damp dungeon floor, the cold stone sending a sharp chill through your body.
"Lumos!"
You lit the end of your wand, waving it around like a sparkler, the glowing white light making you feel less alone. You began thinking of your parents, back to the times when you'd be in awe of every single spell they did, no matter the simplicity. Your father used to create tiny little paper birds out of thin air, he would control their every movement, letting them glide into the kitchen while your mother was cooking. She'd always stop what she was doing, watching them swoop in circles, sometimes she'd even attempt to catch one however your father was much to stealthy, with a flick of his wand the birds would soar higher and higher out of your mothers reach. That was one of your most prized memories which you planned to take with you to the grave.
"Expecto patronum." You whispered, a single tear rolling down your cheek; a happy tear. A (y/p) appeared before your eyes, it's silvery, blue colour radiating a bright glow within the narrow corridor of the dark, dingy dungeons. That was the memory you always thought of, the only memory that you could use to produce your patronus; your parents, whom you missed dearly.
Suddenly you are snapped out of your thoughts as the door to Snape's office re-opens, Draco emerges from the room, disheveled and seemingly upset. He looks at you for a brief moment and without saying a word he walks off.
"Draco?" You shout, his name echoes slightly before trailing off into a faint whisper, you begin to try and follow him.
"White!" Snape shouts from inside his office, as Draco vanished around a corner you halt, turning on your heels and following Snape's voice.
And there he is, sitting behind his desk, with a face like thunder. He raises a brow at you as you're stood in front of him in silence. You begin to feel awkward, trying to find the words to explain yourself or maybe even apologise. Snape, raises his wand in the air and you flinch, backing into the wall. Instead the door shuts, not a slam either, Snape furrows his brows at you as if to say 'what hell was that?"
"I'm extremely disappointed in the behaviour you displayed today Miss White. I think you owe someone an apology."
"You're right, I'm sorry Professor." You mutter, looking down at the grey stone floor.
"Not me you imbecile, Mr Vandersnout!" He spat. "I expect you to write a full letter of apology explaining your regretful actions, no shorter than a full piece of parchment. Now sit down and get on with it while I go and inform Professor McGonagall of your whereabouts."
Snape gets up from his desk, opening a drawer and rustling through his belongings, becoming increasingly annoyed as he clearly couldn't find what he was looking for.
"Accio, parchment" you mutter with a small flick of your wand. The parchment, appears on Snape's desk right in front of him. You saunter over to the desk, sitting down on the chair opposite him. Snape's cold stare fixated onto you, you couldn't tell if he was angry or not but you looked down again, breaking eye contact. You could still feel his glare burning into your skull.
