More Than Teammates

Chapter 2

~Lili's POV~

I got home and hung up my suit. I got in the shower as my phone buzzed.

Jordan: hey what's up?

Me: nothing much. Why?

Jordan: just bored.

Me: okay

Jordan: thank god it's break

Me: yeah

Jordan: could we maybe catch a movie or something?

Me: sure

Jordan: I'll talk to you more about it tomorrow at practice. Bye!

Me: bye!

I finished my shower and texted my best friend Brianna.

Me: BRI OMG HE ASKED ME OUT TO A MOVIE!!!

Brianna: it's like 10:30. I'll deal with this in the morning.

Me: sorry, go to sleep.

Brianna: way ahead of you.

I put my phone on the charger and climbed into bed. I heard it buzz one more time but I didn't bother to check it. I fell asleep thinking about him.

~Jordan's POV~

I fell asleep thinking about her.

We walked into the movie theatre hand in hand. We'd get food and snuggle up together. I'd pick a scary movie so she'd bury her head in my chest. Then at the end of the movie I'd hold her in my arms and kiss her.

I woke up to my phone buzzing at about 2 am. I rolled over to see who it was. Coach. Why is she sending texts so late?

Coach: Doubles tomorrow! 10-12 and 6-8! Varsity boys I want you there when you can. Girls you are off school season so you better be there for both practices.

So I guess I have to schedule around doubles. I really want her to be with me all the time. There is something in her that I can't explain but I love it.
