"Baby wake up."
"Whyyyyy."
"Because we have school."
"Nooooooo."
He kissed my forehead.
"Baby come on."
I got up and wrapped my legs around his waist and good arm around his neck. My bad arm was around his back.
"Lili we have to go to school."
"But baby."
I buried my head in his shoulder. He knew I was still in pain.
"Lili stay home."
He placed me back in bed.
"Jordan I'm okay."
"Lili I love you so much I don't want you to get hurt more. Please stay home for me."
"Okay baby, text me when you can."
"I will."
"Will you be okay?"
"Jordan you just told me to stay home."
"I know but I promised myself I wouldn't let you get hurt or leave you longer than I have to. I want to spend every second with you."
"Awww I'll be okay though."
All of a sudden I felt really upset I started crying.
"Baby what's wrong?"
He sat in the edge of my bed and held my hand.
"Depression. I'll be okay though."
"Baby I'm not leaving you like this."
"You need to go to school."
"Lili I love you too much to leave you right now."
"I love you too much to let Coach hate you more than he already does."
"I don't want to leave you."
"Jordan I'm okay."
"Are you sure?"
"I'm sure."
