I woke up to my boyfriends lips on mine. My eyes fluttered open.
"Sorry, I just wanted to kiss you."
"Babe it's fine."
I put my head on his chest. He kissed the top of my head. My stomach growled.
"Lili I'll go make you something, stay here."
"No I'll go downstairs with you."
"Stay here."
"Babe it's my shoulder, I'll be okay."
I got up and went downstairs with him.
"Lili I'm doing it. I feel like a shitty boyfriend letting you do things after surgery."
"Jordan you're doing great. I love you just the way you are."
"Let's just order a pizza."
"Okay."
He called and we snuggled up in the couch. He still felt off to me.
"Jordan you're the best boyfriend anyone could ask for."
"No I'm not."
"Babe yes you are."
He moved his arm from around me.
"I'm not."
"Jordan"
I took his hand.
"Jordan I love you so much. I want to spend the rest of my life with you."
I felt his lips on mine.
"Lili I love you too."
We sat in silence for a while until the pizza came.
"I love food."
I laughed at him and he brought the pizza over. I went to set up the TV tray but he did it.
"Jordan I'm fine."
"Either way I want to be a good boyfriend."
"Babe you're great just the way you are."
