More Than Teammates

Chapter 16

~Lili's POV~

After dinner I helped clean up. Jordan brought plates into the kitchen. He kissed my cheek.

"Hey beautiful."

"Hey babe."

"Do you think they like me?"

"Yes. That's just the way my dad is."

"Okay I thought he hated me."

"No, he just has resting bitch face."

"Oh okay."

I smiled at him. My mom came into the kitchen while Jordan and I were talking.

"He likes you Jordan, don't worry."

"Okay good."

I felt the tension leave his body.

"You kids go watch a movie or something, we'll clean up."

"Are you sure mom? Jordan and I can help."

"No."

"Okay."

We snuggled back in the couch together, I rested my head on him. As I was drifting off to sleep I had a flashback of one of the times I tried to take my life. I started crying.

"Lili what's wrong?"

"I'm fine Jordan."

"You're crying Lili."

"I said I'm fine."

I felt his hand run along my thigh. It's like he had the magic touch, I started to calm down.

"You can talk to me."

"I had a flashback of when I tried to take my life."

"Oh."

"I thought I had nothing to live for, but now I have you."

He leaned down and kissed me.

"Lili I don't ever want you to feel like you can't tell me everything. I want your pain and I want your suffering. I don't care, I just want you to be happy."

I smiled at him.

"I love you."

"I love you more."

"I doubt it."

I didn't want him to leave. I snuggled closer to him. I pressed my lips onto his. He kissed back softly. With each kiss it got harder and stronger.

"Jordan I'm tired."

"Go to sleep beautiful."

"But I don't want you to leave."

"Who said I'm leaving?"

"My dad will probably kick you out."

"Well I'll be here until he does, I'll just make sure he lets me take you to your bed first."

"He's going to hurt you."

"I love you too much to let anything get in the way of us."

I rested my head on his chest. God he was so perfect.

~Jordan's POV~

We both fell asleep on the couch. I woke up to every light in the house off, everyone must be asleep. There was a note next to us.

Yes he can stay here tonight as long as you don't do anything. Love you both.

I woke up my sleepy girlfriend.

"Babe look at this."

She opened her eyes and tried to read it.

"Jordan I don't have my glasses on."

I read the note to her. She smiled and we went upstairs.

"Sorry my room is a bit of a mess."

"It's not bad."

I laid on her bed while she went to the bathroom to change. I looked around her room, it was just like any teenage girls room. She came back in a t shirt and pajama pants.

"I'd rather see you with those pants off."

"Jordannnnnn"

"I love you babe."

I pulled her on top of me.

"I love you too."

I kissed her.

"Goodnight Lili"

"Night."

She fell asleep with her head on my chest. She was snoring quietly and peacefully. I kissed her forehead and she stirred. She rolled over so we were spooning. I wrapped my arms around her and I felt her body relax into mine. After watching her sleep for a few minutes I drifted off to sleep as well. Thoughts of my perfect girlfriend filled my head.
