More Than Teammates

Chapter 8

~Lili's POV~

We walked up to the front door. He opened the door and we walked in.

"Mom? Dad? Jack?"

His mom came from the kitchen and his brother came from upstairs. His dad must not be home.

"Mom, Jack, this is my girlfriend Lili."

"Oh Lili it's nice to meet you."

I shook her hand and smiled at his brother.

"Nice to meet you too."

"Call me Liz."

Jordan slipped his hand around my waist.

"Oooo you have a girlfriend."

"Shut up Jack."

I smiled at him.

"How old are you Lili?"

"15, a year younger than Jordan."

"Oh. You seem older than that."

"Thank you."

"Oh Jordan your father will love her."

"He better."

"Jack and I will leave you two alone."

Jack went back upstairs and Jordan took me to the living room. We sat on the couch and he turned on the TV. We started flipping through the channels until I found a show I loved.

"OMG it's MASH!"

"Never heard of it."

"Okay you are watching it then. It's really old but really good."

~Jordan's POV~

After an hour of being with Lili I herd the door open.

"Anyone home?"

"Dad we are all here."

I got up and motioned for her to follow me. When she stood up I took her hand. We walked into the kitchen where my dad was.

"Dad, this is Lili, my girlfriend."

"Nice to meet you Lili, call me Adam."

"Nice to meet you Adam."

She shook his hand.

"How long have you two been together?"

"A few days now but I've known her for a while and have liked her since the day I met her."

"Aww Jordan."

I wanted to kiss her but I didn't want my parents to watch.

"Why would you introduce her to us this early in the relationship?"

"Because I know I'm going to be with her for a while."

She stood on her tip toes and kissed me. I kissed back softly. I looked at the clock.

"I have to head to practice, I'll drive you home on the way. Give me a few minutes to change."

I ran upstairs and I heard them talking and laughing. They sounded like they liked her. I came down without my shirt on. Lili was waiting at the bottom of the stairs. She smirked at me.

"Oh shut up Lili."

"I can't enjoy this?"

"You see me without a shirt every night."

"But you're hot."

She put her head on my bare chest and I put my arms around her. She started talking into my chest,

"Jordan I don't deserve you."

"Lili yes you do."

"I really don't."

I pulled her away from me and looked in her eyes.

"Lili yes you do. You deserve every good thing in your life."

I put my shirt on and we got into the car. I drove her home. When we got there she leaned over and kissed my cheek,

"Have fun."

"I won't."

I watched her walk into her house. Practice is going to suck without her.
