More Than Teammates

Chapter 7

~Lili's POV~

After practice I felt dead. I climbed out of the water and Jordan came over to me. My legs felt weak and I was in pain all over. He grabbed me and pulled me closer to him.

"Hey Lili."

"I feel dead."

I put my head on his bare chest.

"Come on it's not that bad."

"Other than the fact that I've been doing doubles all week."

"True, but I have Varsity practice later so I won't be at club practice."

"Really?"

"Yeah. Lili have you told your parents about us?"

"No."

"Neither have I."

"They know I like you and that we went to the movies but they don't know we are a thing."

"Okay."

I moved my arm and heard my shoulder pop. I winced in pain.

"Are you okay?"

"No it feels worse than normal."

"Do you want me to take you to the hospital?"

"I think I'll be okay."

"Are you sure?"

"Jordan I'm sure."

He kissed my cheek and went into the locker room.

~Jordan's POV~

I walked out of the locker room and waited for her. She came out and I saw she was in so much pain.

"Lili don't do this. Don't put yourself through the pain."

"I'm fine. I promise."

"You don't look fine."

"Jordan I'm okay."

"I'm trusting you to tell me when something is wrong."

"I will."

I took her hand.

"Good. Do want to come over and hang out for a little bit?"

"Yes."

We got into my car and drove to my house.

"This is your house?"

"Yeah, why?"

"It's so beautiful. I've seen it when I drive by it and always loved it."

I pulled into my driveway.

"Okay, are you ready to meet my family?"

"Jordan I look horrible."

"You look beautiful and anyway they'll probably love you"

We got out of the car and I took her hand. This'll be an adventure.
