Chapter 4

"After what happened last week, Lan Zhan is still the same. He still treats me nicely, I wonder what made him angry." Wei Wuxian is playing with the rabbits while waiting for Lan Wangji who's talking with Lan Qiren and Lan Xichen.

Two silhouettes are approaching him while he playfully rolling on the greens, the two young men can be recognized as Junior Disciple of Gusu Lan Sect. One with calm and gentle image around him while the other one has a big smile on his face.

"Senior Wei" the older one saluted.

This is the first time he meet these juniors, actually he never talked to any of them nor approach them considering the temper of Lan Qiren to him. What does these two young master want from a poor man like him, they won't greet and approach him for leisure, aren't they?

"You two are?" Wei Wuxian still lying down on the grass without any intention of getting up.

"Lan Yuan, courtesy name 'Sizhui'..." The older one introduced.

"Lan JingYi" The other one followed.

"What is it? You need something?" he said.

"Hanguang-Jun is going out with us, he told us to pick you up." Lan Sizhui replied.

Wei Wuxian quickly straightens his body and rushed to where Lan Wangji awaits, they arrived at Yi city and entered an inn to have a lunch. They sat on the table for four and ordered a lot of dishes.

"Lan Zhan, what are we doing here?" Wei Wuxian crossed his arms as he observes the whole place.

"Investigate" Lan Wangji replied.

"What are we investigating?"

Lan Wangji was about to open his mouth but then a loud sound coming from the entrance was heard, everyone looked at the young girl who kicked the door of the inn, this girl has white eyes so everyone has only one thought, she is blind. Behind her there are two men, one in white with bandages on his eyes and one in in black. The girl rushed towards the person who's sitting beside their table.

"Daozhang! It's him! This guy stole the candies you gave to me."

Everyone were shocked and speechless, Wei Wuxian almost burst out but held in.

"How can she recognize the person if she's blind" Wei Wuxian laughed quietly.

"A-Qing, quiet down. Can you please give the candies back to A-Qing"? The man with bandages on his eyes reached out his hand towards the guy sitting in front of them.

"What! No way, I want some candies from you too" He snorted.

"Give them back!" A-Qing roared.

While the three arguing the other man only watched them and saying nothing, his face only shows displeasure. The people in the inn could only watch and listen silently the group of people arguing over some candies.

A beautiful lady approached the group of Wei Wuxian, the lady started to talk but Lan Wangji ignored her while the two junior only has a troubled look on their faces. Wei Wuxian who's nice enough replied to every word that lady said, her way of talking is flirtatious towards him. She sat on the table and continued talking, when her eyes caught a glimpse on the man sitting beside him her heart suddenly felt terrified. Lan Wangji is glaring at the woman, his face shows no sign of gentleness and his eyes are cold as snow and sharp as knives. But the lady heeds no warning but instead she continues her pursuit, she reached Wei Wuxian's hands with hers. Lan Wangji suddenly stood up and pulls Wei Wuxian into embrace, before he could react he felt that something wet and warm was placed on his lips. His hands are locked by Lan Wangji even though it is not he still couldn't react because of shock, he standstill letting the other man carry out his action and let him tease his mouth.
