CHAPTER 8

Jin GuangYao reached the garden with Jiang Yanli in his hands. His plan was to make Jiang Yanli as the hostage until he escaped but no one was chasing after them until now. He felt like he did something unnecessary and it made him guilty to threaten his sister-in-law who treated him good and kind.

"Sister, I'm really sorry! I have no other choice, but I'll free you now ."Jin GuangYao freed Jiang Yanli and nodded at her.

"A-Yao, Why did you do this? Isn't everything was fine until now? What's wrong?" Despite the fact that her life was threatened by Jin GuangYao, Jiang Yanli still feel worried about him. Her face shows sadness and her eyes are asking for answers. Seeing her brother-in-law to turn into this kind of man, saddened her.

" Sister, I know what I did in the past and right now was unforgivable but please believe me. Lies have no place in every memories and moments that I shared with you and my brother, also the affections that I showed and poured to A-ling. I'm sorry if I lied to all of you all this time, the things that I hid from you all, and I know I did horrible things to this family and to everyone else but please believe me, that all of it are true and sincere." tears dribble down to his cheeks and apologized.

"A-Yao...." Jiang Yanli was kind and forgiving that she felt pity for him in an instant.

"I'll get going now, thank you for everything." Jin GaungYao is ready to mount his sword. Voices from distant are getting closer and closer by every second. He hurriedly mounted Hensheng, ready to leave but the next moment... a saber was flying towards him, aiming for his head.

"Ba---Baxia?" Jin GaungYao panicked after he saw the saber, to all of the people who could catch up to him, why it must be his sworn brother Nie Mingjue! Jin GuangYao curses at how unlucky he is.

"A-YAO! Get down here!" Nie Mingjue threatened him. The face of his older brother and his deep loud voice made Jin GuanYao shiver in fear and not to comply to him.

Another attack coming from Nie Mingjue made Jin GaungYao fall kneeling on the ground. When he as about to stood up, other cultivators are surrounding him already, pointing their swords to him, ready to cut him into half.

"Move! Move! Let me pass!" Jin Zixuan rushed to see the situation. He eyes searched for Jiang Yanli and when he found her safe and unharmed he switched his attention back to Jin GaungYao, facing the ground, not moving an inch.

Jin Zixuan took a deep breath, "Brother---" but was cut off by Nie Mingjue who instantly grabbed Jin GuangYao hard.

"His crimes are unforgivable! And simply dying is not enough for him! He need to continue living to pay for all of them, until he begged fro his life, not to spare it but to take it." Nie Mingjue smirked and dragged Jin GuangYao away from the crowds.

"Sect leader Nie! Let him go! If someone has the right to punish him that would be us!" Jin Zixuan said.

"Brother, I think we all should talk about it. If you decide on this alone, everyone won't agree to it.!" Lan Xichen explained to calm the situation down a little.

"Hmmph! Decide? Kill him and sealed him? That would how the decision would likely to  end up to."

"But Brother—"

"Xichen! I'm telling you, I can't let him die that easily... I'll make sure he'll receive a punishment worthy of death, trust me, leave this to me." Nie Mingjue words made Jin GaugnYao scared, he knows that this older brother of his is always true to his words. And by the looks of other cultivators, it seems like they got convinced because they all know Sect leader Nie's personality.

"Le—Let me g---" Jin GuangYao murmured, tears dribbled to his cheeks, struggling a little from his grip. He wanted to fight back to escape but looking at the situation it is hopeless, he is outnumbered and outpowered. How can he manage to escape? If he does manage to break free and kill Nie Mingjue, he'll face the others. Is it better to die? Or Let Nie Mingjue take him to receive his punishment? While thinking all of the possible way to escape Nie Mingjue interrupted him.

"Don't make me angrier! One wrong move, and your punishment will start here and now! And no one could stop it!"

"Sect leader Nie, let me have a talk first with my brother." Jin Zixuan asked.

"Talk here, it's not a good idea to let him go. He's not that weak to be taken lightly. " Nie Mingjue said.

"ok..Then I'll talk with him here."

Jin GuangYao was restricted by everyone using a spiritual binding tool before he was taken away by Nie Mingjue, Jin Zixuan asked Nie Mingjue to update all of the sects everything about  Jin GuanYao and the progress of his punishments.

Nie Mingjue nodded and left with Jin GaugnYao with everyone from his sects except Nie Huisang who's looking at the back of his older brother, smiling under his favorite fan, as if he knew what was happening and what is bound to happen.

A/N: I was on hiatus for some months because i was kinda busy and i keep seeing posts about Wattpad @ social medias and it made me want to take a rest for a while and let it all pass before writing again. Since i haven't wrote anything at all these past months, i'm sure this is not as good as before so i apologized for that in advance. 

>I changed a lot of parts here... If you still remember, Wangxian arrived at the scene late (At the main story)  but i decided not to include it here but yes, they did arrive ok? and Nie Mingjue words when he was about to take Jin GuangYao with him was actually sweet there, but i also change that. 

>Will finish this one first before continuing the other MDZS fanfic. UwU
