SIDE STORY: THE FALL OF THE BLACK LOTUS Chapter 13:

Sitting on an elegant sedan chair that is covered with red silk, twenty people including disciples and servants escorting him slowly to the place where his life will start to change. Town's people staring at the carriage with an awe, "it must be a beautiful and rich lady", that's what the person inside keep hearing from the people. Since he left his home to get married, all he did is to let out a sigh and place his hand on his face.

"Why do they have to do this? We could have just prepare a secret and normal marriage! How did it end up like this?" The person complained. When his brother got married, they did not do the same! Oh yeah right! All of these are actually his brother's idea!

After the incident, Jiang Fengmian and Madame Yu finally approved Lan Xichen as their second Son-in-law. Both side discussed the issue, Lan Qiren was hesitant and troubled at first but what else can he do? His two nephews has sacrificed and suffered so much for the love of their life, how can he continue to harden his heart towards them? He might cold and strict but he's not heartless, everyone knows that he never liked Wei Wuxian from the very beginning but still, he accepted him.

As they discusses about the marriage, Wei Wuxian pop out of nowhere and ruined the normal wedding that Jiang Cheng planned. He can't believe that his parents would actually agree with Wei Wuxian and make the wedding a grand one! He should have choked him that time but Lan Wangji is always at his side like they cannot be separated even a second, they're like bees that buzz around him just to ruin his day. There's a big possibility that the cause of his death will be those two too!

Today should be perfect, a day that everyone in the world would wish for to come, he should be happy, he shouldn't be stressed but whatever he do and think he can't bring himself to enjoy the day of his wedding at all.

"Why! Why is this happening? I should be happy!" He gritted his teeth, "This is that stupid couple's fault! I should have banned them in Lotus Pier!" He continued.

He complained for the whole time until he arrived at the Cloud Recesses where the wedding will be held. Everyone was there, waiting for his arrival with smiles on their faces, but their bright mood suddenly turned into a complicated one as Jiang Cheng come out from the carriage. His face is dark as storm, there's no sign of happiness at all.

"Does he even want to get married to sect leader?" One of the disciples whispered.

"Who knows, he looks like he got forced into this!" another one said.

They might be whispering and do their best to lower their voices but Jiang Cheng doesn't have a hearing problem nor an old man! Thus he could hear all of their murmurs and whisperings! Veins pooped out from his forehead, he's about to snap any moment now. He turned towards them and took a step to give them a hard beating, "Who would like to have connection with these people? You must be kidding me! I'll go home this instant!" He thought to himself but this thought of him disappeared instantly.

"Wanyin" A voice so sweet called out to him but for him this sweet voice is like a wicked one, like one of those dreams he had before where a voice as sweet as this will call out his name and in the end, without realizing it he was already been pulled down. The voice might sound so wicked for him but at the same time it calm his heart and make him feel safe. Jiang Cheng turned his head toward the direction of the voice and saw Lan Xichen wearing a red robe.

"Ah... This is the man I fell in love with" he smiled.

"Wanyin" Lan Xichen called out again and spread his arms, Jiang Cheng eyes widened and his lips curved up once again. All his life none other than his sister did ever opened their arms for him, all his life he never acted so spoiled, all his life he never committed any embarrassing deed, but maybe it's okay even just once.

Jiang Cheng run towards Lan Xichen and wrapped his arms around him, everyone were dumbfounded, are they seeing it right? Maybe their eyes are playing with them? Just who is this person wearing red robe and hugging zewu-jun? Is that really the Sect leader of YunmengJiang Sect? Did he somehow hit his head while he's on his way to the Cloud Recesses? No one could believe the action that Jiang Cheng did, did the well-known short tempered sect leader of YunemngJiang sect who always whip someone and shout his lungs out hugged someone passionately in front of so many people. Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji who just came were also shocked but after a moment of silence, Wei Wuxian started to giggle and make weird faces as he stare at Jiang Cheng and Lan Xichen who're hugging each other tightly.

When Jiang Cheng realizes of what he did because of Wei Wuxian, he struggled and tried to push Lan Xichen away from him but unfortunately, Lan Xichen was lost in his own world of happiness that he didn't notice the struggling of the man in his embrace. Jiang Cheng couldn't break free because their strength has a large gap, he talk to him in a low voice but it was also useless. Lan Xichen is drowned in his own happiness and fantasy that all of his senses ignored everything that surrounds him.

"Lan Huan!"

Only then, Lan Xichen was pulled back into reality. His eyes widened and stared at Jiang Cheng, not because he was shouted at but because it was the first time Jiang Cheng called him by his birth name.

"A-Cheng" Lan Xichen caressed his face as he calls his name lovingly, he forgot that there are people around and Jiang Cheng hates all kinds of embarrassing and unnecessary attention and yet Lan Xichen, kissed him without thinking.

Everyone was speechless, others are blushing, the elders has their palm on their faces, Lan Wangji still the same but when he looked at his wife who is cheering happily for the two, he can't help to smile secretly from the sideline. When the kiss halted, Jiang Cheng face is bright red and his body is burning like fire. He wanted to hide, or better to take his own life at this very moment, the teasing and cheering of the people only made it worst. But right now, he has no time to get angry at all, because the moment he saw Lan Xichen's face, he realized that today is will be the happiest moment of his life.

"A-Cheng!" Lan Xichen smiled.

"Mn"

The thought of getting married and experiencing the same experience as his sister and brother has never slipped in his mind before. To be tied with the person he love, to be able to spend his whole life with him and to be able to share the happiness and bitterness of life together.

"This is bad! I can't stop, this feeling of happiness is too overwhelming for me to handle." Jiang Cheng keep convincing himself to keep his act together as they walk, the smile on his face right now cannot hide his happiness nor he could deny it later.
