18. karaoke night

"hyung! i won again!" the younger overloaded with extreme happiness.

the older, on the other hand, groaned in complete frustration as he slouched on the sofa.

they had been in the karaoke room for almost 3 hours now and nobody seemed to care.

in fact, none of them seemed to want to go back.

changbin's part time shift was nearly over but he was too intrigued with the game they were playing that he didn't think about anything else but the game.

not only was his shift nearly over, he also have to get home and finish off his homework that was gonna be due in a couple of days.

what he learned about the younger was the fact that he is an expert of games.

but him, he was just an immediate.

one side of him thought that the reason why he defeated him was because he wasn't good compared to the younger but the other side thought that he was actually really good.

hyunjin won 10 games in a row and the older... well, let's just say that he tried.

he tried but failed.

he was no match for the younger.

nobody was actually.

"wanna go again hyung?" hyunjin questioned as he watched towards the older.

"again?? oh come on! we've been playing 10 times already and guess what? you're the one who keeps winning so what's the point??" he whined and folded his arms.

the younger thought that was cute.

he pouted at the older not wanting to play anymore and sat next to him, shaking his arm.

"aww hyung~ if you want, i can let you win." bribing the older to play with him.

"but that isn't playing fair!" changbin reasoned. "let's just stop for now."

hyunjin had no choice but to let it go.

"okay..." the younger joined him into silence as they sat next to each other doing nothing.

he watched the older getting out his phone and checking the time before he turned to the light brown haired boy.

"hyunjin... it's nearly 7pm, my part time shift is nearly over." his tone as if he just realised that he missed something important.

the said boy's eyes widened when he heard how much time they have left.

"aww hyung~ i want to spend more time with you~" the younger pouted.

changbin didn't know what to do now and the karaoke place was going to close down soon.

"hmm, we can go walk around the park? they're going to close soon anyways." he waited for the younger to respond until he received a nod.

the two of them got up and walked out of the karaoke room after tidying everything up.

they thanked the lady at the counter and left the karaoke place.

luckily there was a park nearby so they decided to stop there and just basically talk.

because it was now 7:05pm, most shops were closed and there was a couple of lights on around the park.

the sky was pitch black and it was a bit chilly out there.

fortunately, they were both wearing a huge, warm coat to protect them against the cold.

as they began walking around, there was silence between them yet it was comfortable.

hyunjin didn't know what to say and just admired the older's face.
