"what?!" minho sprung up from his seat and walked a bit closer towards the younger.

changbin couldn't believe his eyes, how much he wanted to have a job.

hyunjin sheepishly nodded as he blushed when all attention was on him.

the black haired boy saw light. he was beginning to have hope and faith in himself.

and that was all thanks to the younger.

both of them knew that changbin's only hope was by agreeing to this job so he could earn money for him and his family.

the whole room fell silent as he looked at the shocked faces belonging to the two olders.

he took this moment and opened his mouth to say more words.

"i-i can ask my dad to hire you. it won't be hard since all of the maids are getting old and my dad had always wanted to hire a youngster in the house, especially the ones around the same age as me so they can keep me company." instead of it sounding like a suggestion, it sounded more like a pleading.

he didn't know why but he was so desperate to convince the older to agree to the idea, it felt that he needed to see changbin everyday.

maybe it was love. which was what minho had told him.

hyunjin smiled at the thought of his desire to have him all to himself. he was so sure that it was completely love.

thanks to the older's words, he realised that he needed to act fast.

the fear he had towards love was brutal and he didn't want to be a part of it.

he just wasn't ready for the world yet.

but after meeting the boy, he started to gain hope that he could get stronger and eventually win against it.

his thoughts were so deep that he didn't realise he was being caught up on it, until he heard changbin's croaky voice.

"urm, the thing is... i'm not good at anything to do with cleaning the house... and i'm not a very good cook as well...." hyunjin quickly snapped out of it when he heard his beautiful voice.

he pulled out his hand as if he was defending himself and shook his head while innocently smiling, "it's not biggie, you're not doing any chores anyways."

"then what's the point in hiring him?" minho barged into the conversation with curiosity.

hyunjin unconsciously smirked and folded his arm. "well, there is one thing he could do."

the two boys stared at each other puzzled.

"what do you mean? what else could there be?" the older barked back.

his expression and actions didn't change yet he was excited to just spill the beans. "you could be my own personal bodyguard?" and this time, it sounded like a suggestion.

their faces expanded as they heard the younger word by word.

however, it didn't take minho long enough to realise what he was thinking about.

he sent a smirk at hyunjin which he noticed and smirked back.

it was as if they were planning something obnoxious, leaving a clueless changbin.

minho wanted him to take the job so he whipped his head towards the target and pulled out his excited puppy face and pranced at him. "changbin, you need to take it!! it's your only chance!!"

"working for my family will give you a higher paid salary than others." hyunjin bribed.

"then you can help your mum and yourself as soon as possible!" minho chimed in.
