short notice - omg guys, i wrote 'saturday' in chapter 20 instead of a week day because that's meant to be when changbin is off but let's just say that hyunjin invited him on his off day so thanks for understanding :)

--

nearly a week went passed again and hyunjin was still locked in his room.

he did eat during those days but only when no one was around, he would unlock his room and get his meal that would be placed on the floor.

ever since then, his dad had told changbin his next order which was to guard the door.

over those past days, changbin would come after school just to stand outside his room.

he kinda missed talking to the younger.

however, he didn't know how to comfort him.

nor knew what to say.

"don't worry about it man, I'm here- woah!" minho squealed as he entered the house.

changbin rolled his eyes in annoyance.

it was minho's first time in hyunjin's house and he was sure surprised that someone like him would live in a house ten times bigger.

"yeah, surprised? hyunjin is from a rich family." the younger chuckled to himself while closing the door.

the older nodded, still in shock.

"don't worry, that was me when i came to his house. i'm used to it now." he slowly nodded again.

just then, mr. hwang walked into the main hall to welcome changbin as always when he saw a new face.

"oh? changbin introduce me to this young lad over here." he asked.

changbin briefly looked at minho and smiled, nodding his head.

"mr. hwang, this is lee minho, my best friend." the younger proudly stated.

the man smiled and got out his arm for a handshake which he accepted.

"nice to meet you minho, i'm hyunjin's dad but please just call me mr. hwang," his tone was really friendly.

minho smiled back as he started getting comfortable with him.

"is hyunjin still in there?" his dad sighed and nodded, pushing his hair back.

"yeah... nothing has changed..." he continued. "i'm worried, he won't open the door after we tried so many times."

changbin frowned after listening to the not changed update.

"i'll try mr. hwang!" minho excitedly exclaimed while shooting his arm in the air.

mr. hwang pulled a small smile knowing that whatever he was planning of wouldn't change anything.

at least they didn't give up.

after he greeted the two boys, he went back inside his office.

changbin turned around to face minho. "follow me." he didn't say anything else and led the way.

minho muttered under his breath. "that ignorant brat." the younger turned around, curious of what he just said.

"what?" he questioned.

the older immediately waved it off as he tried to hide it. "n-nothing..."

changbin eyed the older and slowly turned back to the front.

"that was close." he muttered again.

but this time, changbin didn't hear anything.

as the younger led the way, minho took this moment and admired the scenery.
