36. training room

the moment they entered the training room, chan instantly walked over to an available space and set down his bag he was holding.

changbin, who had followed the two male inside, took a moment to familiar himself with the surroundings. he then also placed his bag next to chan's.

"okay! shall we begin?" chan asked while leaving his bag on the floor and taking his shoes off before walking over to the middle of the room.

"yeah." changbin replied soon after and continued to look around him.

meanwhile hyunjin stood right next to the bags, watching them with an excited face that was completely obvious to see. he couldn't wait to see his favourite hyung train after all.

the training room was spacious for the two male to use: there were weights and lifts, punching bags, boxing equipments and many more.

inside, he felt nervous as ever, he didn't expect his nervousness to suddenly overtake the excitement he felt earlier. the thought of being trained had taken a great impact on changbin himself.

"you can do it hyung!" hyunjin happily cheered, hoping it was enough to give the older courage which it surprisingly did.

"thanks hyunjin." changbin replied, turning his head to the younger and gladly smiled at him. he was hopeful to have him there to give him support.

hyunjin slightly blushed and smiled greatly in response. he was over the moon to be the others number 1 supporter as he was always there to hold him up whenever he needed it.

he had appreciated everything the older had given him, and was glad that he met changbin after everything that has happened the past few months.

"alright, shall we begin? also, can you take your shoes off?" chan asked, noticing that the other still had shoes on.

"oh." changbin returned back, noticing that he was standing on the gigantic mat beneath him and so immediately crouched down to take his shoes off, setting them to the sides.

chan chuckled in response. "it's fine, it's your first time after all." he reassured while stretching himself.

when he was back, standing on the mat with only his socks on, he looked at the male before him, waiting for some sort of guidance.

"let's start off by stretching, we wouldn't want to get hurt in the process with our bones cracking do we?" he whole heartedly laughed making changbin snicker in response.

as hyunjin watched the other follow after chan, his eyes twinkled in excitement and admiration. just the thought of changbin training to protect him made him blush even harder.

after they were done with stretching, they moved on to tactics and skills he could use when combat fighting.

"i want to see how strong your punches are so throw me a punch." chan ordered, giving changbin the next instruction.

he didn't hesitate and immediately went in for a punch which the other instantly blocked it with his other hand. "not bad, but i think you could use more power into it."

changbin tried again, this time with more power and strength he could possibly master and aimed for chan's face as he avoided it again.

he smiled at changbin seconds after. "that's much better than before. let me teach you how to attack people even better." he explained and showed him a tactic he had never seen before.

"okay, try and attack me now." by using what chan had just showed him, he aimed for him once again, this time it was more tactical.

chan smirked at the attempt and intentionally attacked changbin instead. the male falling down at the sudden action, he was now groaning.
