I continued to choke, staring at the astonished Gray as if he had grown wings; scratch that. This was equivalent to growing wings.

   "Yo! Good job! Now that's how you fight!"

   Gray continued to stare at his palms, and the frozen fire-balls, suspended forever in mid-air, as they came crashing down onto the sandy floor.

   "W-What?" Lucy's voice was quivering, making me feel alright. At least I wasn't the only one shaken by Gray's sudden power.

   "What're you all gawping at?" Natsu hissed, returning to his cocky self, "The prophecy can't have chosen you for no reason, you idiots."

   Raising my eyebrows, I stared at Natsu, who was unfazed by this development.

   "You can't really expect anything else from him, Fernandes," Lucy whispered softly, and lead me away.

   Frowning, I walked away; any normal person would call this 'bizarre as flip', and I wouldn't blame them. A week ago, I was at school, learning about the most random crap that would never help me in life.

    I was then abducted by a Vampire...

   "And it's only the start," someone budged into me, pushing my shoulders into a wall, "Was that cool or cool?"

    "Oh, shush." I scoffed at Gray, who was wearing a smug grin on his face, jet-black hair spiked up.

   "Hmmm, seems like someone's jealous." Gray raised an eyebrow, raising up his chin, and a sudden thought struck my mind.

   He and Natsu are definitely quite alike

    ~~~
  "So, what's this about?"
   Mirajane flashed her teeth in a smile, her icy eyes shining. Dinner was over, which was spent in awkward silence, and a certain red-headed girl's mother staring me down.
   "Um, you see," she sheepishly started, a strange quiver in her voice, "until Erza returns, we can't get to proper business."
    "Ah." I bluntly replied, trying to avoid the urge to faceplant into the wooden planks; Believe me, it was something I had definitely gotten used to.
    "How long's her... 'quest' going to take her?" Lucy started, making it dead-obvious that she was trying to pry information out of Mira.
    "I'm not that much of a fool, Heartfilia," there was an edge to her tone, but it immediately softened as followed, "But don't worry, she'll be back soon enough."
    "Right..." Gray piped up. We were all piled up in our dorm sort of thing, with Erza's bed pushed right into the corner, the comforter pressed and folded to perfection.
   "Till then, why don't we, uhm, play something?"
    "Two truths and a lie"?
    "Isn't it two lies and one truth?" I cocked an eyebrow and rested my head on my hand.
    "Nah," Mira awkwardly smiled, "Well, um. Before we go to bed, we should get to know each other?"
    "Yeah, that's good." Gray sniffed reproachfully, "Know your enemy before you die?"
    Mira ignored the accusation. Guess Gray, as he may have been happy about the whole 'Magic-Cool' thing, didn't trust the Vampires fully.
    Who would? We'd just known them for what, three days?
    "I'll go first," Lucy said, flicking her hair out of her face, "Uh... I ran away from home, I'm a single child, and I've had my first kiss."
    I shook my head, laughing. She was awful at this. Mira picked up the hint, and grinned, "Well sweety, you seem just like a daffodil, so I think the lie's the kiss."
    "Hey, what's that supposed to mean?!"
    Gray snorted, chuckling hard, "I wouldn't be too sure, the look she and Natsu give each other, plus the fact that you guys have only known each other for seventy-two hours tops."
    Lucy's expression remained miffed, as the game proceeded.
    "Alright, my turn." Mira said, crossing her legs, and rocking on them, thinking, "Hm, Erza and I hated each other when we were younger, I've never had a boyfriend, and I've skinny-dipped."
    "Oof," Gray said, pondering, "Honestly, I'd say the boyfriend one, but-"
    Mira faked an affronted look, widening her eyes, "Oh, Gray! I'm offended!"
    "Sure, sure," he laughed, "you seem like the girl that has morals, as you and Erza are friends... but then,"
    "It's the last one, right?" Lucy said, beaming, "Mira-san?"
     Mira glowed, "Yup!"
    "Ok, now my turn," Gray huffed arrogantly and flashed his stomach. Everyone had pretty much gotten used to his clothes disappearing, "I'm awesome, I'm cool, and I'm a garden tool."
    "Didn't know we were playing two lies and a truth," I stuck out my tongue, as Gray attacked me with a pillow, hissing in anger with every punch.
    "Okay, okay!" I giggled, as Mira and Lucy collapsed on the floor, as Gray screamed like a banshee, and fell onto his bed, not talking.
    "Your turn, Fernandes," Mira managed, huffing, "Then we should all head to bed."
    "Hmmm," after Gray's feathery attack, my mind had gone completely blank.
    "I don't know my parents, when I was small, I made a vampire friend, and I've never been in love."
     As the last words escaped my lips, Mira's eyes met mine.
    Anything could happen.
