"Wake up! Wake up! We're- We need to go!" A rough hand shoved me sideways, out of bed, my face slamming heavily on the planked floor.
"What the heck?" I exclaimed wearily, not paying attention to what the person was saying; I had had too many prank-calls in the past and took this as one.
"Move your lazy-ars off of the floor, Fernandes!" Gray shoved me harder, threatening to kick and wind me.
"What the heck you want, Gray?!" I was starting to get worked up, and raised myself onto my knees, glaring directly into Gray's soul, scaring the lights out of him.
Or so I thought.
"You need to stop doing that," he snorted, and smirked lightly, an alarm ringing wildly in his eyes, "We need to go unless you'd like me to die for you. I've been trying to avoid that happening, actually."
I huffed and accepted the hand he offered me, pulling on the shirt that I had long abandoned, left on top of my covers, "Well?"
Gray seemed to be pissed, and almost picked me up, "My god, Fernandes! Don't you hear the alarms?!"
"Huh?" Amidst my sleep, I had completely ignored secondary sounds, and I could suddenly hear a shrill whistle of what sounded like a school fire alarm.
"Dude, you're scared of a fire? While we're living with Vampires?"
At this point, Gray lifted me up, and began to run, making me yelp indignantly, "Since you've remembered we live with Vampires, dearest, you should understand that fire alarms aren't fire alarms."
Now, this was the time that panic began to hit me.
"WHY DIDN'T YOU SAY?!"
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN, FERNANDES, YOU-"
"OH MY MAVIS, I'M TOO PRETTY TO DIE-"
"WE ARE NOT ABOUT TO DIE, FERNANDES, SHUT-"
"saVE ME!"
A sharp slap on my face and I was normal again; Well, as normal as you can be after an incredibly embarrassing and unneeded panic attack.
"Gray!"
A rosy-haired man, a little shorter than me, dashed up to us, "Where have you guys been! Queen Belserion's using up her power to stop them, and you two are- uh, what are you guys doing?"
Spluttering, I got out of Gray's arms, landing hard on the ground. "Nothing, um, lead the way." a small blush was spreading across the bridge of my nose, as I followed Natsu - who had a weird look on his face.
What seemed like an earthquake struck the castle, leaving on the ground, debris all around me, as I struggled to breathe.
Natsu seemed to be getting tenser and tenser, leaning against the wall, his chest heaving; onyx-green eyes widened with fear.
