Footprints, as big as the length of an average-height man, were trailed around, a couple of trees unearthed.

   "How come we didn't hear this?"

   Mira sighed, "Vampire enchantments are specifically set so that humans - and other creatures, of course - can't hear in or out. Natsu, Erza and I can, though, as we are the trusted Vampires inside the perimeter.

   I nodded, "But then-"

   "-Whatever it is, it shouldn't be able to hear or see us, let alone know that we're here."

   "We're being hunted."

   "I'm afraid so, Jellal." she frowned, leading me back, "Oh also," she began in a sickly sweet voice again, making me grumble.

   I swear, one moment she's serious, and the next, she acts as nothing happened.

   "I might've accidentally thrown a tent on Natsu in the morning, so it's charred. We only have three tents - Natsu and Gray, and Lucy and I are sharing, so..."

   I winced, suddenly realizing the situation, "Are you sure that Natsu and Gray'll not set the camp on fire?"

   "They'd better not," her eyes flashed, "Besides, if I share Erza's tent, poor Lucy'll be stuck with one of those boys, and I don't trust them."

   I snorted, Natsu and Gray both slept like the dead; I had found out in the morning when Erza had attempted to wake them up in the morning.

   "Plus, it's not like Erza'll assault you or anything," she smirked, "You two don't have any, let's say, chemistry. She's too good for you."

    "Who says?!" I yelped, before blushing a deep beet-red, "I- I mean, I'm just saying, she- I- I don't like her, ok?"

    "Mhmm," Mira hummed, "Just don't do anything I wouldn't let you do..."

    The sky had returned to normal blue a couple of hours ago, but now the sun was setting over the horizon, trees covering its path.

    "Which is to say, you can do everything..."

~~~
"Marshmallow time!" Natsu sang, throwing a pile of wood into the center of the clearing. Erza had already resigned for the night and was in her - our - tent. Gray and Lucy exchanged a glance.
   "Are we doing this again?" Gray asked, sitting down on a log, followed by Lucy.
   "Oh, don't worry, these are normal. I found them in Mira's tent," Natsu cheerfully replied, "Not as good as blood ones, but they'll do."
