"Change out of that thing, right now,"
"It looks nice though!"
"You look like a flipping raccoon, stop," A commanding voice shouted at me from across the room. Natsu pinched his nose, his eyes combing over me.
"No like, seriously. What the heck are you wearing, Fernandes?" His speech was exasperated. I blinked, staring back the pink-head. He was lounging on a cardboard box, spread-eagle, and was wearing an onyx-black, open-chested jacket, with choroid embroidering, and flared-up, pearl-colored pants.
Not to mention those slippers, jeez. What are those?
"You shouldn't be talking, Lizard dude," I raised my eyebrows at him, giving him a disapproving smile, "You look like that anime kid, from- What was it called again?"
"Anime?" A silver-haired, petite woman slunk out of the shadows, smiling sweetly at us in greeting, "What anime are you guys talking about? I love anime!" Mirajane flashed her fangs, grinning at us to continue.
I racked through my finitely-small brain, lightly knocking a fist on the side of my head. I couldn't remember the name.
For Mavis' sake, why're you such a dumbo.
"Fairy tail?" A voice piped up from the corner of the room. It was still a couple of hours before dawn, a cold, clear breeze sweeping in through cracks and crevices in the structure we were in. The speaker stepped towards me, before sitting down inches away from me.
"Yeah!" Mirajane squeaked, her voice high-pitched from excitement, "I've heard of that! It's so cool - they kind of remind me of us, though, y' know. Working together with our Nakama to destroy evil people."
Well, that's one way to put it. Oof.
"You're saying I look like the pink dude in it?" Natsu's voice was bordering between indignation and amusement. I decided to keep my mouth shut before I got beat up and humiliated by the shorter man, "But... He's hot."
I rolled my eyes, before angling my head to the side and flashing a grin, "I don't know what you're talking about. There's this other guy, who's plagued with like "atoning for his sins" or something," I grimaced, that person really just needed to realize that he was a genuine guy, right down to the core, "And he's wayyy hotter."
"I agree," Erza piped up, her voice rather sly, before getting up onto her feet, and pacing the dark-room. A single drop of water echoed the hollow space, "But Jellal-" her voice was deliberately edging towards a teasing tone, "I didn't know you were into dudes."
"Am I?" I smiled at Erza, and she averted her eyes, "Hmm, maybe we should find out if I'm really into dudes-"
Mirajane burst in, this time her voice more somber and serious, "Right. Now before Jellal starts attacking Erza, I think-" she hesitated, composing herself, "I think it's time that we start our journey to- to the castle."
