Chapter 9

Harry’s POV

“Will you be my girlfriend?”

She smiled at me and I was eager to know her answer.

“Yes.”

I smiled at her and I planted my lips on hers.

I broke the kiss and I held her hand.

I looked at her and she looked at me.

“You owe me another Mango and Passion fruit Ice Blend.”

We both laughed and she hugged me.

“Let’s go get you another one then.”

After an hour of drinking and laughing in Starbucks, we got into my Audi.

I turned on the radio and ‘Chasing Cars’ was playing.

I remember the good old days with the boys.

“I don't quite know

How to say

How I feel

Those three words

Are said too much

They're not enough

If I lay here

If I just lay here

Would you lie with me and just forget the world?”

Kim turned down the volume a bit and I looked at her.

She looked at me and smiled.

“Go sing for me.”

I faced the road again and I started to sing.

“Forget what we're told

Before we get too old

Show me a garden that's bursting into life”

I can see her from the corner of my eye that she’s still looking at me.

I placed my hand over hers and she intertwined them.

I smiled and she let out a small laugh.

“Let's waste time

Chasing cars

Around our heads

I need your grace

To remind me

To find my own”

We arrived at the boys’ house and we got down my car.

I held her hand as we walked inside the house.

All of the boys were in the living room, watching some TV.

When they heard the door close, they all turned their heads toward us.

Or, it wasn’t really us… it was just our hands.

We held up our hands that were intertwined so they could get a better view of it.

“We’re together,” Kim and I announced together.

It took them about two seconds for the news to sink into their system.

They all jumped around, cheering very loud. They started congratulating us and hugging us.

“Guys, we’re not engaged.” Kim blurted out.

“Not yet,” Liam joked.

The others were laughing and Kim and I were just blushing.

After we watched a movie, Kim and I decided to go back home.

All of us said our goodnights and see you tomorrow’s.

Kim and I got back in my car and we drove back to our house.

I parked my car at our driveway and unbuckled my seatbelt.

“Kim? We’re home.”

She didn’t respond.

I shook her a bit and called her name.

There’s still no response.

I pushed the hairs away that were covering her face.

She fell asleep on the way home.

I got down of my car and walked over to the passenger’s side.

I slowly opened the door, so Kim wouldn’t fall. I unbuckled her seatbelt and carried her out of the car bridal style.

I took the house keys out of my pocket and unlocked the door.

I stepped inside the house and closed the door with my foot.

I locked the door and proceeded upstairs.

Kim and I had our own room. But, since we’re finally together, as in boyfriend and girlfriend, she’s going to be sleeping with me tonight.

I gently put her down on my bed and I lay down next to her. I kissed her on the forehead.

“Goodnight, beautiful.”

I fell asleep in an instant.
