I stared at my reflection and couldn't decide whether or not I liked what was staring back. John had said Mimi liked classical girls, but I'm not so sure I look classical. To be completely honest, I'm not even sure what to define as classical! So I borrowed mums dress that I have never seen her wear and hoped for the best. It's a blue zip up dress that is half-sleeved and goes to my knees. I've never enjoyed my pail skin, I'm ashamed of it really, but blue made it seem not as bad so this dress would do.

I threw on a trench coat so mum wouldn't see the dress and scurried down the stairs so I wouldn't bump into anyone. No one was around, so I had successfully escaped! I quietly turned the knob and smiled triumphantly. "Where are you going?" I froze and slowly turned towards the walkway.

"Jules! Hey, what are you doingout here so late!" I smiled and crossed my arm, resting my other hand on my chin. "It's only 5:30, and what about you? What are you doing 'out this late'?" She pointed her chalk at me accusingly.

"Oh you know, just getting some fresh air. Walks will do you good ya know!" She stood up and brushed her skirt off. "I want you to get me cake." She stated with a nuetral face. "You what?" "You heard me," she began to walk towards the door. "I want cake, unless you want me to call for dad and tell him you're going to see that boy." Her face twisted at the thought of John.
"You wouldn't dare." I said. "Oh, but I would, I don't think you can outrun him in those boots. Oh! And they're moms favorite brown lace ups! Shame on you Cami-" "Fine! Chocolate fudge, you'll get it when I get home." I began to walk off as she punched the air and cheered.

I don't live too far from John, mostly since I go there all the time, it seems like seconds away. Not today though, the walk felt like miles. I have never been formally invited to Johns house, and I have never met Mimi or George. I have always snuck into Johns room during a time of need. So needless to say, i was frazzled. I bet Winston is having a grand ol' laugh at this whole situation right now.

John's POV
"Which bloody tie!?" I screamed at the mirror. "John, it doesn't matter that much, why don't you just not wear a tie."
"George that is the worst idea you have ever had. I need a tie, a tie completes a proper gentlemen's attire!" My uncle rolled off the bed onto the floor to grab the tie I had just tossed. "Stop that, you are starting to sound just like your aunt." He said sighing. "Maybe that's a good thing!" I said tossing a pair of pants, "if I act like how she wants then there is no way she won't except Cam."

George sat up and grabbed my leg. I fell flat on the floor and scrambled to sit by him. "She really means a lot to you, this bird?" "Pffft! What!? No, neverin a million- okay yes more than anything." I looked away from his eyes, I hate showing weakness. "Then go get her tiger." I looked back at him and he held a navy blue tie. That's Camille's favorite color. Mimi was standing in the door way watching us. When I stood up her face hardened.
"Dinner starts at 6:15 and she isn't here yet. If she isn't here by 6:00 I'm not letting her in." She began to walk away, "Oh and John!" "Yes Mims?" She began to walk down the stairs. "Put some pants on."
