(Time skip: a couple of weeks later)

After that night he searched through my things just to make sure I wasn't hiding anymore blades from him. He started to check my arms every night and had Jenna check my thighs.

They used to do it every night but now they only do it when they notice that I'm feeling low.

The tour had come to an end and I had so much fun. I was sad that it was over, but I was glad to be home. It was our first weekend home and I decided to go to a local arcade I didn't know about.
I did some extra work around the house and I got some money from Tyler and Jenna to go play arcade games. I biked there and when I arrived, it wasn't very busy.

I walked inside to see neon colors in a dark room with video game noises and the sound of coins. I went over to the coin machine and got a handful. I tried a few new games out, but none of them really interested me, so I did a ball drop game instead and entertained myself for a while.

As I collected my tickets, I turned around to cash them in, but instead I bumped into someone.

"Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry!" I said frantically.

"Don't worry about it, I was just seeing if you were gonna beat my high score!" He chuckled.

"YOU set that high score? Well, it is an easy game..." I teased.

"Easy? Well, go try the Zombie Massacre 3 game over there, no one has even gotten close!" He smirked.

"Alright, well before I kick your ass, how about a name, fellow opponent?"

"Damien Chesterfield." He held his hand out.

"Marie Joseph, but you can call me mars." I shook his hand.
"Now...where is this Zombie game?"
He walked over to the arcade machine and it gave my eyes enough time to adjust to him.

He wore a long black T-shirt with the sleeves rolled up, he had short black hair with buzzed sides, he had gauges and black skinny jeans with converse on. His green-hazel eyes were small and his thick eyebrows intensified that. He was tall and smelled nice.

We played two or three rounds, but I only beat him once.
We walked together and cashed out our winnings. As we made way towards the exit, we made small talk.

"Well, you are the first person to beat me at the game even once, so I'll give you that. Keep practicing and maybe you'll get less lucky next time." He playfully stuck his tongue out.

"Maybe next time we say you'll realize this is pure skill baby, pure. Skill." We laugh and exchange numbers.

"I'll talk to you later Mars?" He asked.

"For sure. See you around, nerd!" I yelled, riding my way home with. Big smile on my face.
I arrived home and Tyler noticed immediately.

"What was so awesome at that arcade that your face is red and you can't stop smiling?" He asked sassily.

"I met a guuuuuuyyyyy...." I said, hoping he wouldn't kill me.

"JENNA, OUR BABY GIRL MET A BOY! COME HERE, QUICK!" He yelled.
Jenna sprinted into the living room and jumped on the couch.
Then Tyler resumed.

"Alright, now tell us about this boy..."
