Applejack's POV~

"Oh sorry!" The alicorn continued.

"Its okay! What's your name sugar?" I asked, kindly.

"Stellar Sky. Lovely to meet you both, you seem like best friends! Hey, maybe soon we could have a race? You look like a fast flyer."

She pointed to my girlfriend.

"Of course I'm fast! I'm RainbowDash, the fastest flyer in equestria!" She boasted.

"Oh please spare us." I sighed.

"What?! I thought everypony needed to know how incredibly..."

I gave a weak smile, leaning my head on my hoof.

"...sorry. I think my pride can get in the way sometimes..." She confessed.

Stellar seemed happy. "I gotta fly, but It was nice to see you learned from your mistakes. I'm pretty close with Celestia, So I think I'll tell her. Toodles!" She zoomed off, I figured she was athletic.

Rainbow kicked a rock. "Argh! I'm sick of everypony calling us 'friends.' Haven't they ever seen a lesbian couple before!?" She looked ticked.

I couldn't blame her. "Hey, she didn't know! How could she have?"

"You're right." She mumbled, kicking the rock again. "I just want people to know and accept us AJ. I want people to know that you are mine and that I love you! Me!"

I was shocked she was saying it out of rage instead of her usual perky, romantic type.

"Listen hun..."

I watched the pegasus's head turn to the town hall's clock.

"No time! Come on! We gotta get to the fields!" She panicked.

I gently got to my hooves and followed her as fast as I could.

"Close your eyes..."

"What?!"

"Its a surprise." Rainbow's Raspy voice was in a comfortable tone, as if wanting to be trusted.

"Almost there.." She dramaticly stated.

I sniffed. I could smell treats, of all sorts.

"Uh Uh!" RD snapped. "Don't sniff!"

I got anxious. I had been 'blind' to long it felt. Steady hooves placed me in a seated position.

This patch of grass feels less...grassy. I thought. We must have be on a blanket.

"Okay! Open!" She called.

It was now afternoon and the sky was and orange mixed with pink and blue. The clouds were almost glowing.

As I had guessed, We both were seated on a red and white picnic blanket. A large range of salad to fruit to oats to nuts was spread with Applecider in glass cups.

"Woah."

As I examined more, I noticed she had lit dim candles. To give a bit of light and warmth, while also giving the setting a mood. It was truly romantic.

"Like it?" She asked, giving her signature half-smile.

"Of course ah do! Buh, how did you make time for this?" My mouth was wide in shock.

"I organised it awhile ago. Do you remember that time at the hospital, when I came in late?"

I racked my brain for memories.

"I don't know what's wrong with me! I should be happy, but I'm not ready..." I cried to the nurse. She gave me a soothing smile. "Applejack, You need to keep calm."

"KEEP CALM!? HOW THE BUCK AM I SUPPOST TO KEEP CALM!?! IM-"

"I'm here!" My girlfriend rushed through the nure office doors. "AJ! I'm so sorry I'm late, its just-"

"Don't wanna here it!" I crossed my arms in a great disapproval.

"Please! I'm sorry I gave you the spell, its just-"

~~~Flashback End~~~

"Yeah..?" I studdered.

"I was late because I was getting Big Mac to help me organise this. I wanted to apologize for rushing you into having our first child but when I saw you were happy..." She pulled out something from behind her back.

"Rainbow..." I dragged.

"Instead I will use this moment to ask an important question."

I could feel my heart race and my cheeks start to heat. She looked nervous, both her hooves shaking rapidly. Her voice was shaky, though her face showed no sign of nervousness.

"It feel like I have been waiting forever to ask you this. We've been dating for around 3 months and with jellybean on the way... Its been hard." Her words were speaking true depth and emotion.

"I love you AppleJack. I know it in my soul that I want to be with you forever! So... Will you marry me?" She paused and added a wink to her question.

My eyes swelled up with happiness as I tried not to cry. I nodded my head so quickly it hurt. I was speechless.

When I did get hold of words, I immediately smothered her with kisses while repeating 'Yes' 1000 times.

She placed a siver necklace around my neck. A gold ring sat on it, hanging down. I looked at the ring more closely.

It was a simple golden ring with a heart in the middle. The heart was half Orange and half Blue, with the two blending when they met in the middle.

"Dashie...Its gorgeous! I love it so much, I love you so much!" I squealed.

Rainbow gave me a deep, passionate kiss.

"I love you more my lil' apple." Rainbow breathed when we finally broke away.
