"what in the world?" i mumbled to myself, scrolling through the comment section of joe's recent post: a photo of me.
joe glanced up from his own phone and furrowed his eyebrows, "what?"
"why'd that person call us their mom and dad? and why's everyone saying hashtag joenna?" i shut off my phone and shoved it into my skirt pocket.
joe shrugged, and put away his phone, too, before turning to face me. "tyler told me it's called a 'ship name.'"
"well," i giggled at his lack of vocabulary, "i know what that is. but, why're they shipping us?"
joe nudged me playfully and spoke in a high-pitched tone of voice, "because we make the cutest couple."
"you got me there!" we laughed as he slung his arm over my shoulder and squeezed me tightly against his side.
our laughter died out, but he didn't remove me from his hold. i didn't look up at him, but instead glanced around at bianca and dunkin who, despite the dozens of other dogs there, were playing with one another.
i peeked up at joe after a few moments and, luckily, he was watching our dogs, too, with the cutest grin across his face.
