In the morning, Sweet Pea woke up before Sophia and just laid watching her for a moment, running his fingers through her hair. Sophia opened her eyes, smiling.
"Morning, Sweet Pea," she said.
"Morning," he leaned in to kiss her.
"We need to get ready. I told mum we'd go home for brunch." Sophia said.
"I want to say no but I also want food." Sweet Pea chuckled. "Alright, we'll get up in a minute."
He pulled her on top of him and hugged her tightly. She sighed contently, kissing his jaw.
"You're gorgeous, Pea." She traced her fingers over his Serpent tattoo.
"You're beautiful, princess," he replied with a smile. "Sophia?"
"Yeah?" She asked.
"Will you be my girlfriend?" He asked quickly.
Sophia sat up to straddle him. "Really?"
"Really. I'm enamoured by you. I want you to be mine," he said.
"Of course I will, Sweets," she said, leaning in to kiss him again.
They soon got up and got ready.
"You should probably wear one of my hoodies. You've got some pretty noticeable hickeys on your neck." Sweet Pea suggested.
"My parents have seen me with hickeys but good idea." Sophia agreed, throwing on one of his hoodies.
They both put on their Serpent jackets before getting on his bike and driving to the Putnam's. She unlocked the door when they got there, both of them walking in.
"Sophia, is that you?" William asked.
"Yeah. I want you guys to meet my boyfriend," she said with a smile.
"Boyfriend?" Trisha walked out of the kitchen and saw Sweet Pea. "Boyfriend!" She hugged him.
"Hey." Sweet Pea shrugged.
"What's the commotion?" Tom came down the stairs. He was followed by someone.
"Morning, Josie." Sophia smirked and sent her friend a wink.
"Morning," she replied, blushing.
"Come on, kids, sit down. Brunch is ready." Trisha said. They all sat down. "I don't think the breakfast table's ever been so full!"
"I propose a toast." Will said. "To Tom and Josie, may you end up where you desire, to Sophia and Sweet Pea, may your new relationship prosper and to everyone at this table, may we always have happiness and each other." Everyone clinked glasses.
"So, it's official between you guys?" Josie asked.
Sweet Pea nodded. "I asked her this morning."
"I mean, what happened with you guys? You said you were making sure she got home okay." Sophia said to Tom.
Tom shrugged. "I got her back to our home okay."
After breakfast the four kids were in the lounge chatting, while the parents were cleaning up. Sophia opened a new group chat, adding everyone.

Veronica👸🏻: I wanna do another couples weekend at lodge lodge. Who would be able to go?
Moose😏: kev and I have rrotc on the weekend and if we both weren't there it would be too suspicious..I'm not out to my parents yet so we'd have to say no

Josie🎤: I don't think my mom would allow it. I had to say I was staying at Soph's rather than toms last night. As in she thought I was with Soph. Sorry for using you like that btw
Sophia😈: no worries do it as much as you need. But I'm sure I could get sweets to agree to a weekend away
Veronica👸🏻: we'll discuss it more tomorrow at school
Betty🌞: alright sounds like a plan. Jug would say yes
Josie had to go home, so she said goodbye to the Putnam parents, Sweet Pea and Sophia, and Tom walked her home.
"Sweets, we're going on a weekend away soon." Sophia told him.
"Where to?" He asked.
"Veronica called it Lodge Lodge?" She told him. "It's a couples weekend."
"Who would be going?" Sweet Pea asked.
"Us, V and Arch, Jughead and Betty and the great Choni." Sophia said.
"If you really want to go, we'll go." Sweet Pea said.
"I thought it was going to be harder to convince you than that." Soph laughed.
"I wouldn't say no to a weekend away with some of our friends. Especially with you." He kissed her softly.
