Crazy Bitch

The next morning, Sophia was getting ready for school. She still hadn't said anything to Tom about the day before, as he had been hanging out with Josie when she got home. After breakfast, they walked to school like any normal day.

"Sophia, are you ignoring me?" Tom asked, pulling her to a stop.

"No, I thought you'd be ignoring me," she said, looking down at the ground.

"For what? Saving me? Busting in there and fucking them all up on your own? I always knew you were good at what you do, Soph, that's why the gang never wanted to lose you. What happen there yesterday was crazy. You were phenomenal. And I can't thank you enough." Tom said.

"So, you're not mad at me?" Sophia asked.

"For what?" He asked.

"For getting you involved in all this." Sophia said.

Tom lifted her head. "I chose to be a Serpent, Soph. You're only involved because you wanted to protect me. You're the best big sister and I'm glad you're mine. I love you."

"I love you too, Tommy." Sophia let him bring her in for a hug. Tom slung his arm round her shoulders and they continued to walk to school. "What did mum and dad say about your face?"

"Not a lot." Tom shrugged. "Mum asked what had happened a few times but I just said it was a fight, no big deal. What about you?"

"They were already in bed when I came in, so they didn't see." Sophia said. When they got outside of school she stopped. "I can pretty much assume that everyone's going to know, can't I?"

"Well, let's look at it this way." Tom said. "Sweet Pea, Jughead, Fangs, Betty, Cheryl and Toni were there, Tiny and Dean found out when we got back."

"Betty called Veronica last night, and Sweet Pea told Archie." Sophia filled in.

"I also told Josie what had happened last night." Tom said. "So, factoring in the way our friendship group talk, yes, I'd say it's safe to assume everyone knows."

"Fantastic." Sophia let out a breath, and they walked up and into the building.

A few random people in the corridor began to whisper. Tiny and Dean walked over, both hi-fiving Tom and saying hi to Sophia.

"Your girl is in the music room, Tommo." Tiny said.

"Go get her, tiger." Dean said, patting his back.

"Laters, boys. See ya, Soph." Tom hugged his sister before going to the music room, the boys going in a similar direction.

Sophia walked to the lounge area, and was relieved to see she wouldn't have to face everyone at once. Only Veronica, Cheryl, Toni and Kevin were inside.

"Morning guys," she said.

"Morning, Soph." They all replied. Sophia sat down next to Veronica.

"So, I hear you went all Black Widow on the Ghoulies." Kevin said.

"Is that what you heard?" Sophia said.

"It was crazy, Kev." Cheryl said.

"You should've seen her. It was awesome," said Toni.

"How are you feeling?" Veronica asked.

"I'm okay." Sophia nodded. "Thank you, V."

Veronica smiled, continuing to scroll through her phone. Sweet Pea and Fangs walked in about ten minutes before the bell.

"You were doing so well getting here on time." Toni joked.

"What happened?" Cheryl joined in with her.

Sweet Pea sat on the other side of Sophia.

"Are you okay?" He asked her.

She nodded. "I'm okay." She leaned in and pressed their lips together.

"So, do you want grenade to be your Serpent name?" Fangs asked.

"Grenade?" Asked Kevin.

"You know, like a grenade. Throw one in a room and boom. It explodes. Basically what Sophia does." Fangs explained.

Sophia turned to him. "No, Fangs, I'll stick with Sophia. Put it around that if anyone calls me grenade, there'll be consequences. I am not here to remember that part of my life."

"Done." Fangs said, sliding onto a seat.

"Thank you." Sophia said with a sigh, leaning into Sweet Pea.

The bell rang and soon everyone went off to their lessons. A few classes in, Sophia's teacher was in a meeting, so they had a study period. She was sat minding her own business when some girls behind her started talking.

"I heard she went into a psycho rage and just knocked a load of people out, including her friends." 

"She's seemed weird ever since she got here. Wouldn't surprise me if she's running from the law or something."

"I bet she's a proper crazy bitch. Poor Sweet Pea. And he's so hot, too."

Sophia turned around in her chair, right as Toni, Sweet Pea and Fangs walked in. They had already heard it would be a study period and ditched, but went to find Sophia as she hadn't been with them.

"Can I help you? It's just you seem to be talking a lot about me, and not much to me." The girls were silent. "Here, let me set some facts straight. I'm not a psycho, there was no psycho rage. I knocked a load of people out yes, but none of them my friends. It was all Ghoulies." She turned to the next girl. "I am a bit weird, but no, I'm not running from the law. You'll find that people running from the law are usually caught at the airport, you dumb bimbo." She turned to the last. "I'm definitely somewhat of a crazy bitch. And you're right, Sweet Pea is hot. He's also mine. So, unless you wanna see how much of a crazy bitch I can be, I suggest you keep that in mind. If I so much as see you near him, I swear I'll show you what I can do. Do I make myself clear?" All three of the girls nodded. "Good." Sophia picked up her bag and went to leave.

"Damn." She heard Toni, and turned to see the three of them.

"Come on, Soph, let's get out of here." Fangs said, and the Serpents left. The smirk hadn't left Sweet Pea's face, even after they all sat down outside.

"What?" Sophia asked him.

"Were we a little bit jealous?" He asked her, teasingly.

"Not in the mood." She picked up her bag and walked back into school.

"Soph. Soph!" Sweet Pea caught her arm. "Sophia, I was only messing."

"I'm just not in the mood, Pea," she sighed.

Sweet Pea crashed his lips into hers. Sophia grabbed his arm and pulled him into the Blue and Gold office, locking the door. Sweet Pea picked her up and placed her on the desk, kissing her deeply.

"It was super hot, watching you get all riled up about me," he said, kissing down her neck. 

"Sweets." She gripped his hair.

"I always thought I'd be the jealous one, it's kinda nice to be fought for." Sweet Pea said. "Especially because I know you can hold your own, but seeing you like that with that girl was amazing. You're amazing." He left lovebites on her neck.

There was a knock on the door.

"You guys in there?" Toni asked.

"One sec." Sophia replied. "To be continued." She kissed Sweet Pea once more.
